  1. I don't really get that. If you are using a background from the Internet, it isn't really your work, right? It really doesn't make any sense. I have always used backgrounds from scratch. I will try making one like you say, but I do not know if I will like the outcome....
  2. Hey Guys. Alright, I made a new signature, and I want to know what you think of it:
  3. I have been here for a while yy10! I guess everyone else joined to show off their own work, which is good.
  4. Thanks guys! I will sure take these suggestions and implant them into my new signatures! If you have anymore feedback, I would be happy to hear it.
  5. Ok, thanks! Any specific improvements? I really could use some feedback on how to improve them.
  6. Hello All! I am Walrusworldstudios, but please call me Matthew. I prefer that name rather than my username. For now, I will start by showcasing a few of my graphic designs. I really like feedback and constructive criticism, so please, give me some. I have never used C4D's in my images, and I prefer to use the tools Paint.net has given me to create images. I have been using Paint.net for about a year, but I just started getting active on the forums again. I cannot wait for your comments. Again, thank you! Hot Off The Program Signatures Hidden Content: Avatars Hidden Content: This is just some of my works. I will post more when I get feedback on these. Thanks!
  7. That looks pretty good. Hey, anyone like my images? I made these in June.
  8. I really like the space theme. It is very nice, and your avatar is quite good. I used to have a space theme for signatures, but I really never showed it to anyone.
  9. The reason it looks the same is because that is a set. My guess is yy10 just releases sets that have the same features as the others. However, I do suggest trying to add something different in every avatar you make.
  10. Thanks for the feedback. yeah, Luigi's nose is a bit big, but that is how the render came.
  11. I need some opinion on this recent avatar I made. I think it came out really nicely, but I want to hear what others have to say about it.
  12. Anyone like this avatar? Constructive Criticism is accepted and appreciated.
  13. The splinter avatars are nice, but to dark and sharp. Try adding some gloss to it, and try making them less sharp.
  14. yy10, the miles edgeworth image is a bit to dark. I suggest making it a bit lighter. Also, use a different image.
  15. I think it is. Nice work Theonlychad. Also, yy10, the avatar is good. Add some gloss and make the image a bit more visible.
  16. Thanks yy10. Alright, what about this avatar? I think it is really cool!
  17. What do you guys think of this one? It is a bit old of an avatar, but still, it looks pretty cool, IMO.
  18. It is nice. I like it, personally. Anyways, you think it is not cheating, and I do. We all have opinions, you have yours, and I have mine.
  19. That's not my point, I'm asking you what's wrong with making the C4Ds yourself and using them? You say it's not 100% PDN like that means it doesn't count as art anymore... Can you please tell me where I said it was not art? I admit it is art, but it is not 100% Paint.net, so by using a C4D background, you lost the right to say it was 100% Paint.net because if you said it was, you would be lying. What is wrong with them? Well, using C4D backgrounds just takes the Paint.net out of the image. Basically, it turns into the C4D and the C4D owns the image, it is basically not your image if you use a C4D.
  20. Plugins are made for Paint.net, so they are part of paint.net once added in. Renders are not part of the background. Since the backgrounds are a major part of the image, I do not consider the people and renders on the image cheating, since they are needed. True, the images on the image are not 100% Paint.net, but having full background C4D's is cheating, and something I do not recommend. And yes, I was referring to Glitchy. All his images are 100% Paint.net. No one can argue with that. He even told me himself.
  21. I'm sorry, but I don't understand the logic in that. Why would using C4D's be more wrong that using renders? More importantly, what's wrong with using other software? Well, I find that it is not your work. I mean, the backgrounds of images usually make the image look really nice. So, I find using C4D's cheating, because it is not your work, so it is not 100% paint.net. A lot of people use them, but I know a guy that can make awesome stuff in Paint.net and uses no C4D's whatsoever.
  22. I agree a new signature, that is my old of old work. I am good at Paint.net, and BTW, my avatar, is a current set. I love it, and it is awesome, BTW.
  23. Discussing signature techniques is off-topic? yy10, what your friend is saying doesn't matter, he's not necessarily right. I was probably the one he was referring to. I find C4D's cheating. You didnt make them in Paint.net, so they aren't 100% paint.net. Even if alter the C4D, it is still not something you made in paint.net. I believe to have something 100% Paint.net, you need to have nothing but Paint.net backgrounds. Having images or renders are fine, as long as they are not C4D's. I find them cheating. They are not your work, so i dont use them.
  24. I use your border tutorial in my avatars. It makes an awesome outcome. Thanks for posting this new one. I will try it out.
