  1. OMG!!!   Finally! A decent PDN starfield tutorial!!! Needed that, my stars are always suck-ish.
  2. Damn, this totally rocks!!! I will definitely post up my results. My current planet textures suck, so this is a great help!
  3. Wow, so simple to make. Yet the way it comes out is brilliant!
  4. @Stealthed ... name it Green HAZE?!? Very nice though. Simple to make, but visually appealing. @Jayed No, I don't even have Photoshop. Most of my work is in PDN. Except for that last one I posted up above: The two (no three) imagers I possess are: PDN, Apophysis, and MS Paint *double phail*. All of my spacescapes involve Paint.NET. By the way, few more. Invasion uses my friend's personal stock. Minerals uses Genetica Texture Generator and PDN to touch up. Touch is photomanip Minerals Touch Invasion Special stock: From Jessica Chen Pei Ling (dragonicwolf) EDIT: I should stop editing, but I can't help myself. New Apophysis wallpaper. I feel that I blurred it too much *double facepalm* Flux Matter
  5. @Possum Roadkill I love those fractals, and I've seen many other awesome fractals they have created with that program, I haven't reached that level yet I just find a random fractal automatically generated by Apophysis each time I start the program, manipulate it, and send it out *phail* @Jayed You want to see who's PDN art O_O EDIT: Just got a brainstorm. I was wondering about how to get more realistic solar flare and I hit it: Jitter. Make some Jitter, cut out some of it and smudge what's left! *facepalm* Why didn't I see it before?!?
  6. I would prefer a tutorial for this, but I wouldn't recommend you post one. I'm not a moderator, so I'm not entirely sure what is worth a tutorial.
  7. It's kind of difficult to do a spacescape in general. The atmospheric dust can be generated easily with the clouds effect, and the stars can be done easily as well, but the texture for the planets aren't so easy. By the way, I've just made another wallpaper. No PDN involved, it's a fractal flame done with Apophysis. It took almost a half hour to find all the right transforms, so I'm pretty proud with the result. Once again, it links to my dA. Travel
  8. I laughed at the aliens they look so comical. The burning saucer's glass needs anti-aliasing, though.
  9. No, it's Adobe Photoshop. It's VERY well known, so I'm VERY surprised that you didn't know what it is. I still prefer Paint.NET to Photoshop, despite its 10/10 ratings. I've created more desktop art, three using stock. All of them are spacescapes. Duo Despise Tunnel Catastrophe Birth Family Frozen Twelve Colon Thirty Again, they link to my dA.

  11. Who's piloting the UFO? Still, very nice. I prefer to keep UFOs out of the way of my spacescapes, though.

  15. Interesting, jerkfight. Seems like all of us in this thread create spacescapes. The lighting on yours is something I can't quite match myself. My few (actually I have made tons) are too large so they are URLs instead. Sorry, they link to my deviantART pages. Distant Luminosity Hybrid Devoid Other Worlds

  19. Made a few planetscapes (planet studies) with the first being: Let There Be Light ... second: Devoid Shape3D is my primary help!!! EDIT: I still haven't found a way to add solar flare to the sun, so don't blame me for that mistake.

  21. I've been looking at all your plugins and I say that they're all very useful!!! I use your Sparkles plugin the most for my planetscape wallpapers!

  23. Combine the Outline function with Shape3D (viewtopic.php?f=16&t=5271) and render clouds and you get a planet with a landscape and an atmosphere. Cool! Example? Created this in less than ten minutes! Effects used: MadJik's Sparkle, Pyrochild's Stars, MKT's Shape3D, and Pyrochild's Object Outline. Let There Be Light
