i also have this problem, i am using a studio 15 laptop with windows 7, when i tried to install 3.5.4, i got a message when it was almost done: the feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'PaintDotNet_460279597.msi' in the box below that does not exist, so i have to press cancel and it then uninstalls its self i recently tried copying the files to another location before pressing cancel and then pasting them back when its done, thats when it says those are missing

i'm not sure this question belongs here but anyways... is there any plugin for converting a color to the alpha channel? for example, in the attached image, i want the image to become more transparent the more white it is.

my problem is that whenever i deselected the thing created by the line, gradient, and other tools that create things that you can edit, paint.NET would crash. i tried to reinstall it, uninstalling went fine but when i tried to reinstall it, it couldn't because a folder in the paint.NET folder in local settings was corrupt (its name was all numbers and the text was colored blue). so i tried to delete this folder, but it couldn't be deleted because it said that it wasn't empty(i also couldn't open it). i checked the folder's properties and it said it was 0 bytes and had no files in it. what can i do to fix this? i really miss paint.NET and wish to stop having to use gimp because paint.NET is easier, has shape tools, and more plugins. error log's contents because not let upload file (and as you can see: this did not happen once): This text file was created because Paint.NET crashed. my problem is that whenever i deselected the thing created by the line, gradient, and other tools that create things that you can edit, paint.NET would crash. i tried to reinstall it, uninstalling went fine but when i tried to reinstall it, it couldn't because a folder in the paint.NET folder in local settings was corrupt (its name was all numbers and the text was colored blue). so i tried to delete this folder, but it couldn't be deleted because it said that it wasn't empty(i also couldn't open it). i checked the folder's properties and it said it was 0 bytes and had no files in it. what can i do to fix this? i really miss paint.NET and wish to stop having to use gimp because paint.NET is easier, has shape tools, and more plugins. error log's contents because not let upload file (and as you can see: this did not happen once): This text file was created because Paint.NET crashed.
