  1. I don't know if porting is that straightforward (it is a removed barrier, though), but as someone that spends most of his time in a non-Windows OS, I would adore to have Paint.NET on my OS. If a native version isn't possible, perhaps emulation (via Wine, Crossover, etc.) will be easier to achieve in the future, which would be a good middle ground between running a virtual machine and having a native version of the software.
  2. Thank you very much for this plugin! I use MyPaint a lot for sketching so this is real useful for me.
  3. @Kemaru That's cool, I also like the coffee cup. I don't do pixel art very regularly, but recently I did two mock-ups of a game and I chose to make it pixelated (Game Boy Advance resolution, the pallet has shades of brown and pure white and black):
  4. I like your gallery's hyper-realism style, it's pretty charming.
  5. Nice gallery, the atmosphere on your works is very well executed. My personal favorites are Gift Duo and Missing You.
  6. Major props to the creator of this plugin. I always created animations inside the game engine I use (Game Maker 8 Pro), but now this will make the whole process more convenient. I've consider Promotion in the past, but it's so complicated, while this is perfect to me.
  7. @barbieq25 Thanks, I'm glad you liked. I quite learned a lot with this forum on my first times with PDN, so I always wanted to open a gallery here at some point. @pyrochild Oops. Alright the widescreens pics are now thumbnails, thanks for the warning.
  8. A selection of my best PDN work. My other work can be found in my DeviantART. (link in the sig) In no particular order: Title: Eight A cover made for a digital album by the Russian artist Deech. You can listen to it here: http://deech.bandcamp.com/album/eight Title: Triangle Neon http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3268838/triangles3.png Inspired by Daft Punk. Title: Color Spectrum -Black- http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3268838/Cube%20alt.png Abstract and a bit inspired on the videogame "Rez". Title: RAINBOW COOLTRIP One of the many 500X500 covers I do for myself since I always liked the aspect ratio of CD albums. Title: The Most Beautiful Star One of my favorite covers. Title: Lune http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3268838/LUNE.png A teaser of a game that I may release somewhere in the future. Title: Colors of Polaroid http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3268838/Polaroid.png I Polaroid's brand colors. Title: Paper Star http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3268838/Paper%20Star.png Made a paper-like look with no stocks whatsoever. Title: Music Sounds Better With You A 500X500 cover I made in honor of one of my favorite musics ever "Music Sounds Better With You" by Stardust.
  9. @Tiharo Lovely art, I doubt that I would've the patience to do all that detail. Good job. @PeaceFrog777 That is pretty good for who just used the program some days ago. Don't worry about getting addicted, it's normal. I did this a couple days ago and to me it's my favorite work: (it's called "The Most Beautiful Star")
  10. @Rachel1995 Very nice work, I specially like the texture on the center.
  11. @Pattrick You got some cool abstract work here, good job. I have lately using Paint.net a lot again since I discovered that I love making 500X500 covers on it, here's one of them: I call it RAINBOW COOLTRIP.
  12. Thanks for the tip pyrochild! That seems to work perfectly.
  13. I like the composition of the colors but I think that the letters should be as smouth as they appear on the reflection. Aside that it looks pretty cool! I made this a while ago but I wanted to share nevertheless.http://clank010101.deviantart.com/art/Sunset-in-the-Woods-142803955
  14. I don't know if this is the right subforum to post this but why gradients in Paint.net tend to look posterized? This is what appears to me: Although with the same colors in PS doesn't have any problem: It is the gradient algorinth of each program or its a bug?
