  1. That is a good workaround for the time being, thank you! Anyway, it would be nice to have it fixed.
  2. In any case, when dealing with texts, double click in Windows would mean "select all the word". Never copy. Furthermore, the double click was performed in a ListItem of the Layer's list. Why is it copying the text from a textbox within a dialog that opened later?
  3. I'm using a Windows 7 x64, Paint.NET v3.5.10 (Final Release compilaciĆ³n 3.510.4297.28964) (Yeah, in spanish u.u) Repro steps: - Open Paint.net and create a new working area. It doesn't matter the size or anything, just use the default one. - Open a text editor (like notepad). Write something like "Hello, this is a text". Select it and copy it to the clipboard (Ctrl+C) - Check that the text was copied correctly (paste it somewhere!) - In Paint.net, open the layer's panel (F7) - Double click a layer to open the properties panel. - Attempt to paste the copied text. - Check that it pastes the layer's name instead. - Go to the previously opened text editor and paste there. You will find that the pasted text is the name of the layer. Expected: - Opening the Layer's propertiy panel should not copy the layer's name to the clipboard. I hope all this makes sense, Thanks!
  4. I'm still looking into this. Does anyone have a clue if what I want can be done? Thanks again
  5. I saw this plugin while looking through the board. The output from your plugin is nice, but I don't like the fact that I have to redo the selections in the popup window, and I can't find a good way to do it precisely, as I can do it in the "normal" working space, so this does not cover my needs.
  6. Hey everybody, just registered to the forum, but have been using Paint.NET for quite a while now. Most of the time, I use paint.net to get information out of images. Most of the information I get are selection rectangles that I then use to create asset maps, or similar stuff. What I am looking for is: - Be able to create a rectangular selection, and then by using some command (or button), dump the selection information into a notepad.net text window (similar windows opened with F5/6/7/8) or maybe the clipboard. - The data dumped would be in the format: x,y,w,h I like to say that I haven't created any Plugin, though I have used some of the ones created by members here, so I don't know if what I'm looking for is achievable by one. Also, an extension to what I am looking for is the ability to draw in a layer, all of the rectangles I wish to get coordinates of, and then dump'em all into the same text window (or clipboard). Well that's for now, hope I was clear enough. Thanks in advance.
