  1. All of the pieces are brilliant, and thanks for all the compliments on the tut!
  2. Awesome job Portos! I can see what you mean by not using the circle. It looks very knotted together. Good job!
  3. @Alphawolf626 Wow that looks really smart! The subtle pink/red goes really well with the black and gives a nice result! The doubling up also looks good!
  4. @Remii9512 I'm not sure what to say about that. I think they work for the other people @HELEN Thanks!
  5. How about... a mobile phone? I like the second background down. I wish I knew how to do neons. It reminds me of one of those under sea plants with the flailing arms. Cheers, Swalski
  6. I don't know what it is about the first one but it looks really *ahem* "funky fresh" as I would say . That space scape is awesome too. I couldn't make anything like that when I was (or am) a noob!
  7. Hi! I hope everyone has enjoyed my gallery. I have not updated for ages because... 1. I have been on a holiday to Spain for the past week and 2... 2. My inspiration is at an all time low and I have no idea what to do! Cheers, Swalski *EDIT* There we go. A new piece.
  8. Thank you for the comments! @KillerK: I see what you mean about the colours not contrasting, especially so on "Gaming". I wasn't particularly sure what colours to, so I used blue my fave. @Possum Roadkill: Funnily enough, I didn't intend on the Terminator one being a sig. I saw "Terminator Salvation" and I wanted to make something to do with it. I used a plain 800x600 at first, but cropped it to a smaller size because there was big gaps in it! Cheers, Swalski
  9. Awesome! Amazingly good effects, but so simple! Cheers, Swalski
  10. Welcome to Swalski’s Stuffs! (Swalski’s Art Gallery) I don’t have a huge collection, but I am planning to keep expanding it! Latest Update! First, Signatures And Avatars Hidden Content: One of my earlier sigs, although, I sort of still like it Looking back, I don’t like this one at all My first Avatar! My fave sig and av combo, and what I am using at the time of writing this LJXD's Siggy Tut. Cheers! Now, How About Some Backgrounds And Abstracts? Hidden Content: One of my first PDN ventures! jake2k’s 3D Text Tut. Cheers! Nope. Don’t know why I made. I don’t like it! My Tut. I think “Subtle but sweet” describes this quite nicely KidBoy140’s Background Tut. Cheers! He he he... Guess where this was from! Sharp's Line Sig Tut, but made into a full wallpaper. Cheers! And Finnaly, Miscellaneous! Hidden Content: yellowman’s 3D Curved Text Tut. Cheers! spongey437’s “Popping Out Of A Picture” Tut. Cheers! PacerCoin’s Exploding Planet Tut. Cheers! Sharp’s Glass Ball Tut. Cheers! My attempt at the Mass Effect logo. Completely from eye cjmcguinness's "Real Car -> Toy Car" Tut. Cheers! I was trying out Ash's new tut and I made this. I think it looks quite fancy, so I call it "Fancy Swalski"(Inventive, I know!) I just did this for a bit of a laugh after Modern Warfare 2 was released. I know it's not that good. Thanks to all the people the have produced the plugins that I have used in my pictures, and thank you for visiting my art gallery. I know some of my work is quite awful, but I haven't had Paint.Net all that long! If you have anything you wish to ask or say, please post a comment. Cheers, Swalski
  11. I prefer your "Dream Machine" sig to the wallpaper because the wallpaper seems too pale. Your sig is really bright and awesome though And... Lol. I guess that's polar transformation for ya

  16. I like this because you use some of the simple PDN tools. It's not all plugins like some other tuts (and mine  ). Great job Cheers, Swalski

  18. Sorry Sharp. I didn't mean it. This was just a back I used. You can use anything. I've updated it. All pictures now are smaller and (I think) under the allowed size. Cheers, Swalski

  20. Thanks KillerK. I've put down the hyperlinks for the plugins, and am working on the pictures. Hope the mods don't catch me! Cheers, Swalski

  22. Ok. I know some madass PDNers might think this is simple, but someone felt that they would like a tut, and I was happy to oblige Plugins: Align Object Bevel Anyway, you will be making something like this (I apologise this is not the exact thing you will be making. I made this image, and about two weeks later I made the tut, but I think this is quite close. Play around with some of the options and see what result you get) Ok, here we go. 1. Start with a plain 800x600 Background. Select your two colours as black and red. Go to render and select clouds (Scale 110. Roughness 0.75) Gaussian blur this at about 25. 2. Now make a new layer, draw a white circle (any size really),fill it white and align it to the centre. 3. Make a new layer, and draw a white ellipse, fill it white, and align that to centre. 4. Merge the cirlce and ellipse layers down. 5. Wand inside the shape and bevel the edges. Make the top a light red, and the bottom a darker red (Depth 20). 6. Wand in the centre and fill this section red. 7. Wand outside the shape and press Ctrl + I to invert. Gaussian blur this at 20 8. Wand in the centre of the shape and hit glow (17, 72, -87). 9. Again, wand outside the shape, Ctrl + I to invert and Gaussian blur at 20 10. Ok. Duplicate the layer twice. On the top layer apply a twist at the standard settings. 11. Go down a layer and twist again, but this time, on the first setting, put a minus in front of it. 12. Finally, glow the top two layers (17, 38, -87) And you’re done! Again, as I said before, feel free to play around with the settings and colours. This is a rough guidline. Change the twist options, glow options, colour options, anything! Thanks, Swalski

  24. Thanks Leonte. Initially, I thought it looked better with the back, but looking at it now, I think you're right.
