Good idea to check the Temp directory...I usually do just get it from the web site, but regularly I don't know about the next version until I run Paint.NET and am prompted to Install Now or Install when Exit...

Does it save the file anywhere? It seems that on the most part I only realise there is a new version of Paint.NET available once I run Paint.NET and am forced to upgrade...I just want to have that file saved to use on other machines...

Hi, I've tried to search for this and can't find it anywhere...but is there an option or way to save the update that is downloaded Paint.NET goes into it's update Now or when closed mode? The reason is that we have 4 or 5 machines at work plus virtual machines and they all ahve Paint.NET, it would be nice if the first one could then save the file for the others to manually update... thanks heaps!

I don't think it's at all important (perhaps not even worth mentioning), but figured i'd let you know... when changing windows xp apperance theme...from Windows Classic Style to Windows XP Style, the square around the color circle on the "Colors" window (F8) stays the same color of the previous windows style (i think, or is it the other way round?!). see attached screenshot... unrelatedly, i try and convert everybody i know to using paint.net! thanks heaps!
