  2. guess all my work has been ruined. there's at least one in every picture I do. some have many and I mean more than 10. Yes there are some in the dragon. #3 should read polar inversion should be treated as just one tool in making an effect not an effect all by itself. If you are going to use it in an image make sure I can barley tell where you've used it  . ciao OMA I meant that as in, dont use it when you're in doubt, not never use it.
  3. I love you I havent use PdN for awhile, but now im getting back on ^ | | (In a friendly way.)
  4. Good habits:(Should have its own category.) 1. ALWAYS write text on a new layer, this will prevent from you finishing your 6 hour long work and then there is A typo. 2. Save in .PdN files so you can come back later and fix things, or improve. 3. Try never to use polar inversion, this could ruin your picture.

  11. That's ridiculous. You can use the line tool, the square tool, the circle tool, etc. Take this thing from pixeljoint for example: For the base of the statue, do you really think he pressed he mouse button like 100 times so he could draw a line? For the buildings, do you really think he pressed his mouse button 1000 times? Also, On page one of the pixel art gallery, boltbait states the rules of pixel art.
  12. He used his mouse a lot to do that, but it takes some work. For example, what sharp posted, Im sure he used the Pencil tool. Anyways, lets get back on topic.

  14. They are duped houses, but I recolored them with the pencil tool.
  15. No, that plant one I did find, but it was in spanish, didnt give good detail, from what I could understand. I plan on making a tutorial on dithering by myself though. The block ones DO look similar, but I found that one right after I made my own.
  16. waffle, with pixel art, you HAVE to use the tool, no line tools. You can use the fill bucket once in awhile though.
  17. Thats my entry for the pixel art competition in the overflow
  18. Pixel Art is not always Isometric. Isometric is the most popular form of pixel art, but pixel is art is also making sprites for games (the old games), etc. It's just using pixels to create art. Exactly, thats why I said it depends on your style. I added A new plant tutorial! The result is a bit small, but good for some pieces.
  19. That is expert dithering.... Haha. I know it looks small, but Im totally going to make a tutorial on it.
