I think this is a bug, maybe its only for me. When selecting a folder, if I type in the path it does not recognize I have altered it. If I select it, it works fine If you have a transparent new image, It will not work. So an 800x600 of transparent pixels, use your effect... no result. Sorry i double posted >.< heres a vid of the bugs if it helps at all:

I think the 1st responder is correct. (and I love his sig) But I would recommend putting it on a new layer anyway. Then you can add effects to it/ rotate it withought screwing up your entire image.

Maybe if you give us some mroe info we can help. You tried to save a gif as agif? With what program/plugin? Do you have the latest version of paint.NET/the plugin you may have used

agif is a type of gif that somebody made | It is made by a plugin so P.NET has capabilities to make Gifs. Im not quite sure sorry. Use the good search ( http://www.getpaint.net/search.html )and try typing in some key words. I think this is it: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=28407 iPodLover please try to make your posts like somewhat thought out, you double posted and did no research b4 your post. Its just nonsense..... Ps: gifs have the capability to be animated... so agif isnt animated gif...(i dont think lol)

@lotusrich who made another topic in the wrong section (he was referred here) Make sure your putting them in the folder program files>Paint.net>effects and make sure your puttign it in the appropriate bit type if you have 64 bit vista

Hmm well it is very nice first off. I would change the text a little, either move it a smidge right or use a different font. The outside of the top planet looks a little pixalated, nothing big but an easy fix I like where the top planet/object hits the bottom one but imo I would make it more of a splash or more things shooting out. Overall, its awesome and I like it. Maybe make the right side a little less barren and make a shooting star with Helios ripoff tutorial? just change the colors viewtopic.php?f=15&t=22438 Overall: 8.9/10 Nice job
