  1. Added a new avatar + sig, see OP.
  2. Use the advanced option of curves+. Input - Luminosity Output - Alpha. Then leave the rest as it is, and hit OK. for the area you highlighted (or the whole picture), luminosity (brightness) will now = alpha. You can play around with it and fine tune it as well.
  3. ... when you install PDN on every computer you use, even public ones. ... when you hack your friends computer (with his permission) and use you remote access to install PDN Guilty of both.
  4. ^ Needs to be more careful < Is a know-it-all v posts in this forum.
  5. You stop being addicted to Big Red. You get addicted to Little Blue soda. I wish I had a computer that isn't a six-year-old POS.
  6. A simple portal-themed wallpaper that I came up with: C/C is welcome and appreciated, as always.

  9. Best spacescape I've ever seen! How'd you make the planet textures, though?
  10. Came up with a nice and simple wallpaper yesterday: C/C Is welcome, as always.
  11. Gradient bars with a bright primary and fully transparent secondary (play with the settings to get them on the bottom, like the way Madjik did it: in this topic. Then sorta mess with them (add blur, unfocus, cloud overlay, frosted glass, etc ). Hope it helped.
  12. I just added a new spacescape. Check it out:
  13. Needs more :AntiAliasingOn:antialiasing. Nice though.
  14. Love the chocolate! *eats it* Keep up the good work!
  15. Love your style. This has been said before, but most of them, especially the new one, need :AntiAliasingOn:. Other than that, great work! (I may end up imitating a few things here and there  )
  16. I gotta say the spacescapes v2 one. It was my first 'major' pdn project and I learned quite a bit from it. (Like why I dont need photoshop)
  17. How about some fireworks? or a nebula/galaxy/black hole/thing? Both were my wallpapers at sometime or another, are 100% PDN, and are a relatively large resolution.
  18. In the fireworks or the spacescape? In the fireworks one I wanted the main focus to be on the fireworks, not the stars, which is why they are dull. Thanks for all of your encouraging remarks!
  19. I have been using PDN for a few months now and wanted to show off some of my creations. I am somewhat of a n00b and most of these are from tutorials. I don't currently have a DA so the most updated gallery can be found here and on imageshack. Since imageshack seems to have resized my images, a zip will be uploaded somewhere else (containing all original .pdn's): http://www.filesavr.com/wallpapers_2 NOTE: 'env_laser' and 'Teh Lazer' are my old nicknames and some images may be watermarked with them. NOTE: The yin-yang in the zip is not mine. I am not sure how it got into the zip. Sorry Please visit the gallery on ImageShack to see all of my work because I will be using this thread to showcase by best work. Here is my second attempt at a spacescape: I followed this tutorial and added the border based on the idea of someone's example. Here is the real reason I have made this thread, as it is the only one that was done without a tutorial to follow (save for madjik's suggestion about using Ash's flower tutorial to make fireworks): This is a thumbnail, click for real image. Here is a nebula/time rift/black hole/thing I came up with the other day A new spacescape. Unlike my other creations, it is not 100% PDN (The lens flare is from GIMP) Simple wallpaper I came up with the other day: Current Avatar + Sig (12-25-09) C/C is welcome and appreciated.
  20. Nice! will definitely make one when I have the time.
