Please read with astute calmness.
(I don't see anywhere where I wrote, remove the post?)
I realize “stock?” photos can be a limited resource especially if free but, this is the chosen photo? I find it odd on a "Family Friendly? Forum", pictures of a girl in underwear, looking completely plastered with beer bottles scattered, distressed on a toilet which actually could be someone friend (although I would question the "friend" part) family oriented. No disrespect. I'm a memeber because I like the product. I find your belittling it all, a bit disquieting and someone has to say these images are not OK. Because really. They're not OK.

Interesting Tutorial. Hopefully, this is not a “victim” of unfortunate circumstances?? One can never tell these days.
I believe while this tutorial is interesting enough, the images are disturbingly non-family oriented borderline abusive leaving me to wonder why such pictures (Rule 12) are not requested to be changed or removed?

Colour Balance is a must. Have you considered adding a Greyscale "checkbox switch" and a contrast slider? You would have a great channel mixer. Outline, feather, selections - it's all good. Thank-You.

The fact that curves+ can save settings and work in CMKY makes it worth the download (I use 2.6 without any problems) Outline objects is good too. Thanks.

Great Informative Tutorial.
I have a slightly different way to achieve the Rule of Thirds in my good photos.
This technique allows me to visualize the entire image while I am determining the best area and amount as to crop.

All the pics look amazing.....I have a slightly different way of doing the same effect...
Click title to view: >> "Blending colour into black & white Images"
-----------------------------------
Helpful Plug-in:
Tools:
Eraser Tool-Expose lower layer
Magic Wand-Control erasing edges (use with "ADD" and "Tolerance" adjustments)
1. Duplicate Image and convert the top layer to B/W using your favourite method (Or use colour tones).
2. Select the B/W layer and use the Eraser tool as a paintbrush to remove areas and expose the layer below. The intensity of the brush can be adjusted by lowering the "Transparency-Alpha" found on the “Colour Bar” when you click the "More>>" button. Erase a little or a lot. It’s up to you.

Sister, Mother....Daughter? (In a Family Frendly sort of way)
Not to mention, girls who have been in this situation preferring not to be.
