Sorry if I offended you All I thought that the blurred colors are a bit too prominent (i.e. some parts were more like a solid color than a texture). We may just have different tastes though

I did it a bit differently (and in my opinion, better ) I don't like the stem though...

You may want to include the link to the jitter effect. And step three you can duplicate the layer and set the brightness to 100. But it's a nice effect nonetheless.
