I have extended the entry period. You can still enter something you've been working on ! Sunday night No, some things came up and life got in the way.... I have not been myself for some time now.... It all goes back a few weeks when I was abducted by a mad genetic scientist researching hibernation in mammals for deep space flight. He thought that maybe the possum's unique ability to "play dead" and fall into a near comatose state might be the answer to his research. It took the security force from my multi-national corporation a couple of weeks to locate me and formulate a rescue plan. In the meantime, I was working on my own plan of escape. I "played dead" and fooled the guards at the facility where I was being held into thinking I was unconscious. When they came in my cage to check on me, I bit them and scampered to the nearest exit. I fled into a nearby woods where I hid out eating roots, grubs, and berries to survive. Apparently some of the berries I ingested were slightly toxic and I wandered around in the woods for over a week in a hallucinogenic state. When I finally came to my senses, I found myself in a dumpster in a nearby town cornered by a pack of stray dogs. I was rescued and taken in by a kindly retired veterinarian who nursed me back to health. My security force finally located me again and returned me to my home in the woods. I'm still experiencing the after effects of the wild berries I consumed, but I should be back to normal in a few weeks. I just hope my fur stops glowing in the dark so I can get a good nights sleep.

Very good point ! I still don't know what I did wrong when I re-posted the link. Who knows, I can mess up a train wreck, so it was obviously something I did and not my computer. What's that saying, PEBKAC, Problem exists between keyboard and chair? Yes, certainly operator error!

Not sure why the link was broken, I copied it from the original link in the WOTW Theme discussion thread. It's fixed now. You can get this kind of warning from an antivirus like Norton because the file is a dll. You would have gotten the same kind of error message if it had been a zip file. I think you can trust Pyrochild, maybe not me, but Pyro for sure.

The SAC is going on a little hiatus for awhile. I know everyone is busy with summer/starting back to school/general life........ I'll bring it back when there seems to be more interest. Let me know if any of you are interested in staring this comp back up. Thanks to everyone who entered all the comps so far ! Keep the theme ideas coming !

WOTW # 36 Grid Gradient Abstract WOTW Comp Rules: All submissions must be created in Paint.net with the exception of renders and stock photos when allowed. Minimum size is 800 X 600. There is no maximum size, but keep in mind that people will want to look at your image and if it takes too long to load, they may not look at it. Please try to make your image in the proportion of a Wallpaper, because this is a Wallpaper comp. (Duh!) NO PLACEHOLDERS Do not post an entry until it is a finished product. NO WIPS ! Obviously you cannot use the stocks or renders as your entire submission, so the majority of your image should be created in Paint.net. Special rule # 5. Do not anger the Possum. # 36 Grid Gradient Abstract ! Theme Rules. Please read this ! Theme is " Grid Gradient Abstract !" The Theme Idea: You are to make a wallpaper of an abstract using the Grid Gradient plugin by Pyrochild. Some very nice work in here. I'll have to stop in when I have more time and study them more closely. You should really think about joining in on the Space Art Competition sometime. It would be nice to see some of your works entered.
