  1. Thank you for the info. I shall check it out now!
  2. Greetings again. Is there a plug-in that makes lightning lines? I know how to make them glow, but making the lines never seems natural to me. Suggestions?
  3. I've been doing space art for a couple of years now, figuring out how to make some really nice images as I go along. But doing rings around a planet... that one leaves me cold. I want to do some but everytime I try, they come out look crappy. Does anyone have a tutorial on how to do such an image?
  4. I have downloaded this but for some reason, it's not showing in the file I put it in. Is there a reason for this?
  5. Okay... after playing with the Gimp plug-in, I'm seeing it doesn't do exactly the same thing as Content Aware Fill. It works fine for small areas, however, drying to remove large things proves problematic. So... my question still stands. Will Paintnet have a version of this to come soon?
  6. I see that Photoshop has a new thing for that program. It looks pretty cool. Here's a youtube look at it: Now... What I'd like to know is this. Does Paint.net, which I feel is the best program out there, have something like this? If not, will there be something like it in the near future? Your thoughts please.
  7. How does one take this into account when dealing with trees? I have an image I'm working on that has tons of branches. I want to keep the branches but not the sky behind them. I suppose I could go in and cut out each tiny little hole, but that is far too annoying to do. I've turned the image into a sillouette so that there is only black and white to deal with. I still have to remove the white areas. Any ideas?
  8. I've got the lastest version of Paint.Net and I've added this plug-in. Problem is... I don't know how to get it to put GIMP into it's file loader. I can browse for it and find the path, but I'd reather have it there in the tool selection. Any help with?
  9. Hey Pyrochild. I reinstalled your plugins, but now some don't work. I get this error: File: C:\Paint.NET\Effects\Splatter.dll Effect Name: pyrochild.effects.splatter.Splatter Full error message: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type 'PaintDotNet.SystemLayer.GdiPaintControl' from assembly 'PaintDotNet.SystemLayer, Version=3.36.3158.38062, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. at pyrochild.effects.common.Canvas..ctor() at pyrochild.effects.common.CanvasConfigDialog.InitializeComponent() at pyrochild.effects.common.CanvasConfigDialog..ctor() at pyrochild.effects.splatter.ConfigDialog..ctor() at pyrochild.effects.splatter.Splatter.CreateConfigDialog() at PaintDotNet.Menus.EffectMenuBase.RunEffect(Type effectType) How do I fix this?
  10. This is a good start. Saves me the task of putting little pin points all over the place. I have a couple of suggestions (or requests). 1. Make a slide adjustment for where the horizon should be. As you have it now, only small portion of the sky is created and to show more of the sky, I have to mark off small areas of an image to continue the sky's star field down further. (If that makes any sense.) 2. This works really well with another plug-in that was posted here called "Sparkles" which takes pin points of white dots and gives them flairs and glows. Is there a way for you to include something like it into this? 3. You should also include a random color generator for stars. White is good... most stars appear that way. But some do have color, like Mars. Anyway... nice plug-in.
  11. Please disregard the above post. I finally manage to get it to work!
  12. I have a problem. I downloaded this plug-in a while back and it worked just fine. Then my computer crashed and I had to reinstall everything. I've just downloaded this and placed it in the effects folder as it should be. It's not showing up! Can you give me a hand with this?
