I was kinda bored so one morning, I took a cool stock... added some gentle effects with Photoshop (it's the best for gentle effects like this one ^^") And voila I guess... the bottom right hand corner is kinda empty, you might move the features list down a bit, untilt slightly? That would free up some "elbow room" where you could put the where and when stuff Never make the 'Where' and 'When' mixed up with something else... some poor person might google directions for a place in Australia instead of the USA (as an example... my mom mistyped that word... give her a break hehe) Personally I think it looks pretty good :wink:

The first two are pretty simple, basically smudging and clipping masks. The effects in the next two involve distortions (twist, bulge, power twist), smudging, and layer modes (lighten only, normal, and darken only basically). P.S: I have Photoshop Elements 4...but it really sucks. meh. :evil: I must suck then :x I'll never figure out how to make clipping masks work in photoshop CS4 (which I have currently...) Smudging I can figure out, the smudging/liquify is pretty damn good in photoshop :wink: But I don't think I can make it work well... I got this cool effect to make trails of light... looks [bunnie] awesome. I'll try to figure out the stupid clipping mask/smudgie thingey... I give up with distortions >_<

Adjusting the hue, all depends on your starting color. From the looks of the PS tut, adjust the hue to bluish. [/size] Yeah, ash put a good point. I have photoshop CS4 extended. They put their hue from 1-255. Paint.NET has it from 1-180. So 218 is a blueish color, so, if you want to do it mathmatically. find what percent 218 is of 255 and then find X% of 180 so if 218 is 10% of 255, then you would find 90% of 180 (100% minus 10% = 90%...) If you want to do it the easy way. Try saving the picture file from the tut and using color picker Or just find a blueish color like in the tut XD -Jayed PS- the sizing thing for the text posting formater on here is like messed up ._.

I think what yellowman is getting at is the use of stock images that don't belong to Ouchy yet Ouchy is still watermarking those to *drily* a more correct usage of commas would help... But yes, I do see what you're driving at She made the sig tut to be one big fat image. So she just put "don't rip" all over that one big fat image. And the fact that she is using the images in her sig, so she's watermarking her sig, not necessarily the image that she got somewhere else. (just a general guess, you'd have to ask her)

Well, put it this way. Let's say I make this really stinking awesome sig, flash, .gif, .jpg, whatever, it looks awesome. I spent like 30 hours of work in it, then someone else takes it and claims that "they" made it. >_<" So that's why you put your little "signature" in your signature. *I don't do that if I am ok with people using them, but on some I do because they're MINE* Make more sense? So, long story put short. She put a lot of time and effort into that tutorial, if someone were just to copy/paste into their blog and not give credit to her. Then all the sudden about 50 people made that tutorial... the same exact way lol
