  1. not bad, not bad, but you'r cutouts need a bit of work... you might want to try a bit of feather. i really like this one: how did you make that background? ...and sory, but i don't know 'bout the forum type and what it supports...
  2. the desktop should support it just fine. mine dose. it's probably the wrong file type
  3. *faceslap* so that's what it's called.
  4. it reminds me of that set of bars from winamp that moves with the song's pitch (dunno what it's called) the blue is quite relaxing, but the text could use some improvement...
  5. so you did: 1. canvas size 2. resize image did you undo the canvas resize before you resized the image? if not, that means u tryed to make an A4 out of something that was already A4, thus the result was nothing. either that or you forgot to click OK (jk of cours)
  6. try aplying an outline or a feather to the text befor u emboss it. evin a fragment blurr at a small distance could work.
  7. if u still have your text on a separate layer, u can cut it out and rewrite. if you've already flattened and saved the pic like that, then i'm afraid you're stuck with it. paint.net dose not have such an option
  8. oh. any idea on how to doo that with opera?
  9. not sure if popup is the term for it, but... well i frequent a couple of other forums beside this one (names not impostant), and on the other forums, any sort of link (bee it to an image/other topic/other site, etc) opens in a new tab/window (depending on browser), so i've developed a habbit of coling such links after i visit. here, however, all links open in the same tab/window, and (if i'm not paying atention , which is usually the case) i find myself closing it, thus having to acces the site again. my question is: is there a forum setting that would allow me to open links in new tabs by default? 'cause if there is, i haven't found it. thx in advance (at least for reading this)
  10. @ Vectawr: simle design, maby; end result, very nice; first impresion, time consuming to make @forty-two: good one, looks really clean @Possum Roadkill: that looks insane. i like it, but it would probably give me headeachs if i had it on my desktop.
  11. u get gass  jk but seriously, that is a good picture. i'm curious as to how that gas inside was made
  12. @Ash: you're talking about his/her title, right? @andreagambler: first, i hope u have each one on a different layer, since u will want the blurr in different directions. second, to obtane the blurr, but still keep the image, duplicate the layer it's on, aply motion blurr to the layer underneath, then change the blending mode of the one above to whatever u consider to have the desired effect (it usually works best with overlay or reflect). also, uncheck the centered option in the motion blurr window. hope this helps.
  13. thx. and yes, the pics in the hand drawn category are done from scratch. drawn and shaded in pencil, colors and smoothing (at leas i tried) in PDN. is it better now? took me a while to figure out how to insert thumbs
  14. exploding planet looks great. orb/sphere/thing: looks to me like a dying star poker chip: nice, but it could use a bit mose shading, maby a shadow too (says a guy that sucks at drawing 3D). overall... keep it up.
  15. Leonte

    Hey

nice. the first and third are great, especialy the third, keep it up. as for juggernaut(it is him, right  ) u could have used a bit more blurr on the left. looking forward to seeing more oh, and a wellcome would bee in order, from one recent forumer to another
  16. @Ash: whoops... ok i'll get back when i get a brainstorm. @Benji2: actually, more like your avatar, only more blurry, but the smudge sounds good. i'll see what o can get with it. i'll probably end up with a hybrid
  17. i figure i've got sufficient stuff to start a gallery, so that's exacly what i'm dooing. enjoy: Wallpapers: Hand drawn: (drawn, scanned and edited) Sigs: (some scaling required)(some are in use on other forums) Avatars Other stuff: (don't know a category for this) and that's about all i've made so far. for moast of them i used an already existing pictupe(not my own) and modifyed'em.
  18. tried it, thx. got this: looks like smoke, but not qite it. it still dosen't have that 3D look to it. any idea on how i could fold or spirsal it, or something?
  19. you know the way cigarette smoke apears in bright light... something like this: http://fc06.deviantart.com/fs31/f/2008/ ... rushes.jpg i've searched for it already, but to no success any idea on how to doo it?
  20. yup, a diffrent program. PDN can't make animated gif's on it's own, sory
  21. bevel would work. u could also do it with emboss, but then u'd haveto crop it, cuz it adds a grey background
  22. you're wellcome. and next time you're browsing a font, u might want to look for a litle box/option like this
  23. try this: http://www.dafont.com/font-comment.php?file=army&af=on one of the variations there should bee it.
