Mastering Paint.NET - ebook
Kamala replied to Ego Eram Reputo's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Thanks so much for this ebook - it has helped me a great deal, along with having it in my tablet as I am working on PDN on my laptop. Nicely done!! -
This was from an old competition calling for the making of an album cover/back, following the usage of several links to obtain pics, title, song titles, etc.

Hello, PaintDotNet Family - it's been awhile, but I'm slowing getting active again. I hope everyone is doing well and I will be reading and catching up on all I've missed.
-
 Wow - those eyes are also following my moves (and it spooked my cats! hahah) Positively fantastic - those eyes and nose are so nicely proportioned! - utterly wonderful just to look at, like one is in a museum! The elephant is stunning, but I'm blown away by the sketching and drawing that you do free-hand. It is a real gift. My scrawls look better as an example of a dead language, I also like how you take pains to label details on each layer! Thanks so much for the inspiration and keep it coming!
-
Thank you, Simon 8) I had it saved to my desktop in the interim - I'll go ahead and discard. Thanks for your time and kind help.

Holy Cow, this is going to be a great feature! I had one question - I already understand what to do with the .dll file, but what file should the skin file go, as it does not say dll? (Can you tell I'm still painfully new?)  Thanks so much for this.

Planets with rings (i.e. how to create a Saturn)
Kamala replied to jsonchiu's topic in Tutorial Graveyard
Thank you so much for teaching this. Here's my humble attempt: @ Anonymous 6366, love that your planet's colors, lighting, and the starry-space! (The image is clickable) -
I loved how you blended in the Demon in Light - and as a sci-fi nut, I LOVED the exploding planet!! It's neat how you have the light eminating out of the planet's cracks.
-
Those are so lovely I particularly love the Teddy Bear - Keep posting your drawings - they are great!
-
This was the quickest one I've done - Lovely! This is a symbol for The United Federation of Planets/Star Trek Online group.
-
They are wonderful, Yellowman, I especially love the details on the flowers - boy, do I have a long way to go!
-
Absolutely spectacular, Oma! I always enjoy viewing your art work, and how wonderful it is that the only limits are ones imagination and determination. Thanks for being such an inspiration. I love how you use light, reflection, glow, to travel through, bounce off, and encapsulate the graphics, with details galore.. I can stare at them for hours!

No, Pyrochild - we love you, - they simply don't understand you!

WhiteStar's Texture Creations & 3D Egyptian Temple of Bast

In case you haven't seen this before, http://www.imagecels.com/docs/palms-textures-desert-trees.html -
This is my attempt, but found when I performed the SeamLess Texture, the fracture was placed in the upper section, not the middle. I've placed this as a thumbnail links, as it does not look very good. I am enjoying everyone's creativity. Thank you for posting this - this was the quickist one I've done yet.

WhiteStar's Texture Creations & 3D Egyptian Temple of Bast

WhiteStar, Those are absolutely astonishing! While I am still a serious neophyte, I am dodgedly working through tutorials, hoping one day to be a fraction as good as you and many of the PDN family. Bravo! -
Thanks, Sharp, I am working on the second one - and am playing Innagoddadavida, (Iron Butterfly), as my "ambient" music, I appreciate the tips and encouragment.
-
Greeting, Paint Family! Well, here is my first, utter failure of an attempt to do this tutorial - I was working on more learning the program's function, along with the forum threads that go with them - needless to say, I need to slow down, and try, try, again! In the interest of truth, , here is the absolute first one I've done ever with PDN. I am going to work on the second one, and will post asap. Thanks to so many here who are kind and awesome!

ONCE FUNCTIONED, NOW MISSING PARTS/LINKS FROM FRONT PAGE
Kamala replied to Kamala's topic in Troubleshooting & Bug Reports
Thanks so much for the kind assistance you both have given me - I am determined to "catch-up" on my computer ignorance, (despite that I use it at work all the time) - Learning the nuts and bolts of computers is soooo important. Thanks again - it worked liked a charm. This is an awesome group. -

Good Afternoon, I confess to not understanding what you were instructing- the program is listed in the correct file, etc, and I tried moving icons around, (sorry for being clueless), but now the paint screen reads 53%, and looks somewhat more simplistic, and missing the same areas. Hugs for taking time to help on a Saturday morning! -

Good Evening, I apologize for troubling what must be a very hectic workload. I had originally installed this wonderful program approx. 3-4 days ago, and started to use it slowly, and reading as much of the tutorials/forums, etc. Today, the program opened, missing the usual sub-windows, particularly the one on the bottom left (color palette, I believe) Then, the others on the right disappeared, and the title bar said "untitled, 100%." I've tried uninstalled, and re-installed, but with the same results; I've spent hours going through the many Paint posts/resources, but have not found a similar situation. Please help me. Thank you. -
