Can anyone crop this for me? please?

i previously tried this method, to no avail, but thanks. any other suggestions? anyone whizzes who could do it for me?

Hi there. I'm fairly good at Paint.net in general but for some reason this image defies me! I wish to crop the girl out completely, including her hair, but every time i do so (and move onto a new backgorund) there is evidence of black dots around the hair, the hair looking unnatural ETC. i have been trying this for about 3 hours now, can one of the pros either help me out sufficiently, or send me a copy which is cropped - well enough - for me to add onto a new background.
