They're simply not listed. Here's my effects window. The only things added are Mirror, Reflection, and 3D Shaped (in the render section) Feather used to work in Objects until I updated.

This is the entirety of my Effects folder at the time. I cleared it out and added pyrochild's plugin pack to see if some other plugins weren't working for a reason.

Plugins rarely work for me...I've read and reread this post countless times, gotten advice from experienced PDNers, and nothing. The only plugins that have EVER worked for me are mirror, reflection, 3D object (Which barely works for me) and feather (which doesn't work at all since I updated) I've tried hundreds of individual plugins, anywhere from Pyrochild to Boltbait, and they don't work. I'm running an HP with Windows Vista, and I see no reason for them to work for me any less than someone else.

Do you have an area outside of where you're trying to type selected? Make sure you don't, that could screw you over real fast.

I have all of the files in my effects folder, but when I open PDN it doesn't display them. Anything else I need to do? Sorry this is my first time DLing plugins.

For some sick and twisted reason, I'm not able to download plugins. I download them, open them, and Adobe Reader comes up with an error message saying "Adobe Reader could not open ___.dll because it either is not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged." I know no other way to install plugins. I'm using Vista, if that affects anything.
