Alright...here is what I do now. I use Ellipse with filled shape and have the colour set to WHITE. Then I make a new layer over the background and draw my circle. Then set transparency to what ever looks good. Thanks for it all guys. Now I can finally make better graphics.

My Anti-antilising is on and this is what I get when I zoom in on my circle: No wonder it's got jagged edges...but why is it just mine doing this?

Hello. My eclipse tool has jagged edges. I want to make things look "shiny" but when I go to lighten the selected area, it has really bad edges. Here is what I mean: Look at where I have brightened it. See how it has jagged edges...it just isn't nice and smooth. How do I fix it?
