I'm working on a youtube wallpaper and I'm wondering if there is a way to make some sort of wrinkled cardboard or paper... have any idea?
-
Use Smudge or Custom Brushes.
Best is to redraw it from scratch using Custom Brushes:
So there is no simple filter that could accomplish that type of effect? Huh.

I apologize for the double post, but I'm beginning to think that you and I aren't on the same track.
THIS is the kind of effect is what I'm trying to execute:

Basic Instructions - See panel 2.
Uh, Panel 2?

Your best bet is to add a new layer and use the line tool to "draw" over the top of your source image.
Now, you could use the built-in Effects > Artistic > Ink Sketch to help you find where the natural lines are.
I... Don't understand. Could you explain in greater depth?

I'm looking to have some to appear that it was drawn. I have a creation that I made in Paint.net but I'm just wondering if there is a filter to do this? Or do I use a combination of effects?

That'll work well.
Thanks.

Hello once again folks!
I thought of a pretty neat idea for a wallpaper, which includes a part that's a torn piece of paper... Would anyone have any idea how to do this?
-
*Bump!*
Sorry guys, but how did you do that jiggity effect?
-
Ah. Maybe animation would got on the other side of the "N", make the 3D go the other way. Just a though. The font is the SEGA font, can be found easily if you want to do some stuff using the concept yourself. Thanks for the comment.
OK, here I tried it.
I don't think it turned out as good as it did for you LFC, but I like it. Anyway, how did you create that shadow?

OK, I'll try and do that.

I was bored so i had to give it a shot:
I quite like the concept of it.
Wow, I really like that. Though it is VNanimation not VNstudios.

I don't expect you guys to do create it, just perhaps give me a few tips or if even a tutorial showing a good way to do it, if you would happen to know how. Thanks anyway guys.

I should have been more informative.
Here is my current logo:
Pretty basic right?
So yes, I wanted one a little more... Not sure how to explain it. But I've always been fond of Tutvid's logo on Youtube.
So I was kinda tinking of adding some kind of neat flames or something to mine, but sadly I'm the greatest at Paint.net...

I know it is a bit much, but I'm struggling here. Someone please help.

Ugh... This is one of the last things I wanted to do, but I've just been having so much trouble lately. Anyway, can someone help me create a logo? You could draw out a layout, share with me a few ideas, or if you want, create the whole picture! It would say just "VN". If this would be any help, I'll describe my "company" I am a amateur film maker who creates short stop motion films with LEGO, brickfilms.
If anyone is able to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, I'll try that. Thanks Nab.

Yes, I've downloaded a few plugins including that one. But what I'm mostly asking is for some help with detail and what not.

Hello, I'm a n00bie on Paint.net, and I was just wondering if anyone had a clue how to create a realistic box. Thanks for your time.
-
you shouldve just done a paint.net search but heres the plugin anyways ^^
I searched on google and I'd think the link would pop up. Oh well, thanks.

Hello again! Sorry Rick, I was in sorta of a hurry and forgot to read the rules. Anyway, I'm an amateur stop motion filmer and I just have a quick question about a plugin. In this thread, I really need that additional plugin linked to the post. Unfortunately, it doesn't exists where it was located. So I was wondering if it's at a different site now or if not, you'll take the time and upload it for me. Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone! I'm working on a little advert image for a youtube contest and I wanna take a certain picture and make it look like a pencil drawn sketch. Any trick to achieving this?
EDIT: Ah jeez, I thought I tried the Pencil Sketch effect and it didn't work, but I guess I haven't experimented with it yet. So sorry guys.
