K, guys here's the question and im sorry if it's a bad one but i was messing around on youtube and dicided to look up some pdn stuff and found one where the pdn skin was black all the tools were the same, and it worked the same as pdn but it had a black skin... i looked how to do this even on this forum but all i found was the skinning competition. so how do you get a black skin for pdn?

Yeah i have gimp and i really dont like it at all Paint.net has a much better interface and as far as i know gimp has no... plugin style features more like paint with magic wand^^

I dont have many Images to post at this time however i do have a few, keep in mind im fairly new lemmi know how im doing for really starting to get into this only a few days ago. Backgrounds: I made this one after following the Making a polished spacescape tut http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=27512 Thats actually it for wallpapers...and yeah the ship is pasted in (would post link but i've had the pic for a while^^) Signatures: This was my first sig, hey you gotta start somewhere right? For my second Sig, i call it Sig#2^^ i had just figured out how to reflect objects and realized the importance of layers :wink: And for what i like to call Sig#3 this was again after the polished spacescapes tut and i had figured out some of the gradient technics and here are my two latest ones firstly encorporating a lot that i had learned and secondly just messing around however it came out quite cool i think. and lastly i have a forum of my own (http://Jermsmusic.co.nr) and i have made this logo for it.

well you could ignore it or go back to using ms paint ^^ jk i honestly dont thing you can turn it off

I Used to play a game called Stronghold 2, well i still do.... anyway im fairly new to pdn only a week or so, however my skill gets better every day. On a site related to sh2 (http://www.stronghold-knights.com) the admin posted a loading screen (you can change the default) that looked like this... The question is is it possible to get that crystal effect on pdn? , after a bunch of pm's and emails i got ahold of the admin and he said he used photoshop and paint to do this but i have yet to figure out if the crystal effect for pictures is possible. So either pm me email me (jcc.93@hotmail.com) talk to me on msn or make a tut explaining how i could do this it would be much appreceited.
