Read this blog entry: http://blog.getpaint.net/2009/01/16/mid ... ntnet-v35/ and theres more in the pdn blog -
all of this coulda been acheieved if you used paint.net but whatever. okay, well for the custom brushes plugin that you need for that tut, try simon brown's plugin : viewtopic.php?f=16&t=23093 and to convert photoshop brushes into paint.net custom brushes, view this tut : viewtopic.php?t=23727

all you need to make a tutorial for is now the bowl to finish it off 8)
-
no, apple.
-
he could be talking about the thing that you set for 3.5 maybe.
-
well, for the 3rd one, maybe you could cut jesus out :? and then make a new layer, and paste, and then use arrow tools to align properly, and then a new layer between the background and jesus, and then paste a light c4d in, if it has a black background, play around with layer settings so that black dissapears, and then use brightness/contrast to make jesus stand out. i tried doing that, so yeah: *edit* oops, sorry, i just read the part on that you dont want a howto. well, how about giving the picture depth, by blurring out the background?
-
haha dw, i was even thicker when i started pdn
-
ok, lets start from the bottom. new file. fill in with a colour new layer, name it shine make your primary colour white, go to rectangle tool. use fill w/o outlin on shine layer. lower opacity to about 150 normal.
-
that is a pretty simple but effective plugin.
