  1. Sorry, not sure what you mean? I opened the RAW file in my other editing programmes (Paint Shop Pro and Photoshop) and it looked exactly as it did on my camera. I opened the RAW file in Paint.Net and it was automatically brightened and grainy. I had to save both as jpegs to attach them here.
  2. My mistake, it's only happening when opening RAW files not jpegs. I've never had this happen before though. Any ideas what's happening?
  3. Attached are the two versions for comparison. Paint.Net is the lighter one - it's never altered things of its own accord before.
  4. For some reason Paint.Net is now automatically altering my photos as soon as it opens them. The pictures are dramatically brightened and grainy (and ruined), this is not happening with any other editing software. It seems to have started doing this really suddenly and I don't know why. I don't think I changed any settings or anything like that. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  5. I'm brand new to Paint.Net and think this tut is excellent, it's really versatile. I've had no success using a lightning photo (it ends up a complete blur or a clear disk), but this is the effect I got with water droplets
