I have a few questions about this Helios sig. It's a great sig and tutorial, hats off to Expired. I just wanted to know, how do you get that crescent, that glow at the right side that expands

I've got that gloss to work, but I can get that crescent and the blue outline stuff to work.

Well, it might've been asked before, but I'm not sure of what to search it, in other words, I'm not sure of the right word, but I've got a few images, they have been edited in Photoshop (NOT by me). With out the effect ^^ With the effect ^^ Notice that badged in kinda text? How can I do that?
