hm, I like my attempt is like Madjik's but I kept mine blue. and instead of using overlay (it just looked funny to me because i used smaller clouds) I used color burn. hope this works!

Sweet thank you! That is exactly what it was, there were about 5 different PDN dlls in my effects folder, got rid of em and wha la! everything is back!!!! Thank you!

I've tried both of your suggestions.... and still no luck this makes me very sad... I'm just going to try to figure out which one it was that made it poop out on me :evil:

I don't know what happened. I don't remember what the last plugin was that I dl but I still have everything in the effects folder but for some reason when I open PDN, nothing is there. Just whatever came with the version I currently have. Should I just delete all my effects from my folder and start over??? Please help me! Thanks in advance if you can help

yay I did it. I like it. Good tut.

You could use the search. But the easiest way I've done it is... take the photo you want. Duplicate the layer. Take the layer on top and turn it to black and white. Then take your eraser tool and erase where you want to have color. When you're finished flatten the image and save! Be sure to check out the newbie playground, and browse the tuts. They are all really well put together. (well most of them) EDIT: oops... I misread it... lol you are all right!

WOW I love em! :shock: Too awesome for me! Oh, and what was that I was hearing about a stencil tut? I also like to do art IRL, but if I could apply pdn to my real life stuff, that would be awesome. did i misunderstand your post or... ?

I know, I keep trying... actually I've been staring at a glass of mine for hours trying to figure out in my head how to do it... my husband thinks I've taken something lol. So darn frustrating though!

Alright, with a tip from Ash, this is my go at it: My first try, looks like too much drop shadow... kinda looks like glass soap My second go at it, eh it's still missing something.... Any suggestions? I got the idea, but still missing that something?

Ash, that would be ROCKIN if you could even give me a smidgen of a hint or tip! I was just mesmerized by your ornaments on the glass table peice in your DA gallery. I know it took a lot of work and there is amazing detail... I just hope someday I will be as good as you are at this! I just don't understand how to make it look like glass... But if you are willing to make a tut for it, I'm willing to wait for it! It will be worth the wait IMO.

I've searched and have only found how to make glass buttons, or glass text. This is not what I want. I've seen what Ash has done on his deviantart gallery, and he has a way of making ice cubes, or glass trays, etc... I think it's really cool, and if there is already a tut out there in forum land I must have missed it! Did I miss it on my search? :oops: Any help thank you in advance, please be nice, I'm still getting used to PDN!

Not sure if anyone has requested this before, didn't feel like going through 150 pages of posts to find out though! I would like to find a way to make a tree. With trunk, branches, (no leaves) roots, the whole sha bang. Also, I need to find the plugin for powerstretch. I've looked but maybe I overlooked it... can anyone help me at all???

UGH same problem with me. I installed the plugin correctly, and as soon as my brush hits the canvas, boom, it crashes. I don't think anyone has successfully used this plugin with the version we have. I hope someone can help me, I really want to use them!
