Hi, I know you are all looking forward to answering to a total paint.net idiot: I am looking to make a photo transparent (or translucent-what is the difference?) so the image looks faded and can be set as a faded background picture. I saw the youtube instruction video but that only showed a totally gray background after..just need to find out how to fade a bit.. and yes, sorry, I am a little hard of understanding things...so, really step by step, so a 2 yr old could understand it..
