I always though that Paint.Net was the best photo-editing software but I can't convince anyone to use it. They always say that photoshop is better and it's frustrating. So I have a question for you all: Which one is the best? Photoshop or Paint.Net? Why? OR ?

Dude, I never said that I would do a tut on space thing, only my sig is space-themed. My tut maybe on a cool effect I found (mabye not the first one who found it) but I did not see anything on this in the forum. I will work on that nextly!

Hmm, glow is an awesome idea! 3D won't look like natural. I'm browsing for a font that will fit the background now...

I'm not sure I will add somwthing to the background with the astronaut. I'll focus more on the text effect to make it like if it was part of the picture.

Hey hey everyone! I'm back on those Pdn forums and for my come back I just wanna do a tutorial (dunno why, I like tuts ). But before starting the whole picture snapping procedure and all thos explanation thing, I just wanna take some minutes to talk with some good pdn users and some guest about different skills to... be better! I'm planing to craft another sig too because that one is OLD and bad! Raph.

so here it is! (using the tut way)

Plugins : viewtopic.php?f=16&t=22819 <-these links contains all of the plugins required. viewtopic.php?f=16&t=25303 It Gives This : First, begin by creating a blank space Create a circle on a new layer (this will be your smiley)using this: :ShapeInterior: Make the Face of your smiley Select the eyes and the mouth with the magic wand and delete them Take the Outline object tool and make radius to 4, strengh to 6 and outline color to black Select the Magic wand tool and click on a blank space (not on the eyes or on the mouth, press outside the smiley) and press Ctrl-i Select move selection tool and make the selection shrink a bit by holding Shift and center the selection in the middle of your smiley's face Make a new layer and make a gradient with a pure white and a completly transparent color and stop it in the middle of your smiley's face :Deselect: Deselect the selection, take the feather tool and put the feather radius to 4 and the effect strengh to 6 (dont check the box) Select the smiley but without the black circle around it (if you dont understand, check the image below) and make a gradient down it's face (like in the image below) Voila!
