  1. Okay. (Sorry about the duplicate posts, don't know how that happened).
  2. It failed. Here's the new crash log. pdncrashlog.txt
  3. All right. I don't want to misunderstand anything. You're saying, remove that dll file from the effects folder, correct? I'll do that now and try the plugin again.
  4. All right. Here's the crash log attachment. pdncrashlog.txt
  5. Okay. I was using the plugin when PdN closed down. How do I know if the plugin was at fault or PdN was at fault? Further, the crash log is huge. Do you really want me to post it here?
  6. I sent it in because this was the message that was produced when it crashed. "This text file was created because Paint.NET crashed. Please e-mail this file to crashlog@getpaint.net so we can diagnose and fix the problem."
  7. Yes, I've been sending them in and that's all I need to do? Is that correct? Pyro's sig implies he doesn't want to be bothered with it.
  8. I sent the crashlog in twice. Are saying I can post it somewhere? and if so, where?
  9. Why is it everytime I create a gradient map and save to the "Custom" menu, PdN crashes?
  10. Basically you need three layers like this: Use the top layer, the "red cut out lines" layer to outline the windows with the "line" tool. I used red so you can see it easier. Use the magic wand to select inside the window lines. Click to the "interior" layer and press the delete key on the keyboard. After the windows are deleted the image from the "exterior" layer will show through from below. Here's a good tutorial on how to cut out an image using the "line" tool. This is how I did this sample. Hope this helps.
  11. I have PdN v3.5.5 and the only version of Smudge that works is this one... copyright 2009, product version 2.3.3599.36650 To check this just right click on the smudge dll file, and click on the details tab. I have all of Pyro's latest plugins but had to keep this version of smudge.
  12. Thanks Barbie for your comments and the collab was a pleasure for me also.
  13. Guess what? I added the dll extension and it worked. Never experienced that before.
  14. I think you're right. Do you know where else I can get it? I downloaded it again and I got the same result.
  15. Nope, it's not there, and how come it doesn't have a dll extension on it?
  16. Thanks again for your comments Possum.
  17. Thanks for your comments Possum. I appreciate that very much. The collabs were fun and educational and by the way, I like your sig, especially the swords.
  18. Thanks for the great compliment JD. The fractal program I use is Apophysis and nothing else. I pull all the fractal elements into PdN and do all the postwork in PdN including making the gold elements, lighting and shading. Thanks for taking a look at my gallery.
  19. CSM725: Thanks for taking a look and for your compliments.
  20. @HeatStroke: Thanks for the compliments and for taking a look.
  21. Thanks. I learned those from Helen Light.
  22. Howdy Welsh. Yeah I thought I'd drop in here a little more often. It's been a couple of years since I've been active here. Good to see you too.
