I mimic'd the pressure sensitivity look, then used a controlled selection of Add Noise and Motion blur followed by a 1px erase to give it the torn feel. All Paint.NET. The only part I can't and won't take credit for is the leaf at the tip of the 'Y'. That is actually CMD's creation from a while back. I wanted it too feel kind of Japanese in terms of the fake brush stroke and tried to keep it sleek at the same time. I like it, and I still have some corrections to make. Glad you like it :shock:

That's awesome. Illustrator + PDN? My favorite is the top one, but if you think the shading will get in the way, I would use the 4th one on original post.

Zieon, use align object plugin instead.

Draw the windows logo, then use zoom blur. You won't have to worry about jaggy edges very much, seeing as it will be blurred anyways. So you can probably get away with just line tool + paintbrush. Then when your done coloring each of the separate squares, flatten them into one layer (not including the background) run Black&White, then Brightness contrast to turn it white. Then use a transparent radial gradient from the center out the so middle is white. Merge that down with colored layer (adjusting transparency if you want) then zoom blur.

Yeah, It seemed like the perspective on the paper was different on left and right, but didn't know how to say it without being weird The microphone fits with the piece of newspaper it's on, but the right side being different makes it look off.

Thanks The planet lighting is pretty bleh though.

On the MLK piece, either the microphone or the newspaper aren't tilted at the same angle. The newspaper goes down pretty steeply, but the microphone doesn't. Cool piece though.
