  1. Move Layer 1 and 3 next to each other, merge down. Now you have layer2 and layer1+3. but when you have more than two layers you want flattened and they have different blending modes merge isn't quite the same as flatten.
  2. Layers I and III wouldn't be flattened? The opposite. Layers I and III would be flattened, leaving layer II and Layer I/III.
  3. Bump. No one knows an easier way to do this? Not even an acknowledgment that it's the only way?
  4. Those last two abstract/wallpapers are amazingly well put together
  5. Worldnewser: The texture of the ground looks really cool on the second piece. For the planetary lights, you should add a slight yellow tinge to them. Right now it makes the planet look sort of see through. Here's a space scene I made today. I like the background/stars a lot, but I'm still working on making a realistic 100% PDN planet texture.
  6. Is their an easier way to flatten just some layers? Kind of like in Photoshop, they have a "Flatten Visible" tool, that just flattens layers that are checked as visible. Right now I've been saving, unchecking the layers I don't want saved, Flatten, Ctrl+C, revert to saved version, and paste into a new layer.
  7. Good job siren. Only thing I would change is make the highlights on the bottom more opaque, and the ones on the top more transparent. Other than that, great job!
  8. I did the same kind of thing the other day, but I used panelling instead. Thought of it when wondering how to recreate These. But now that I think about it, rotate/zoom probably works better
  9. the problem is, when I pick the ones that I want, I find things in them that are over my head right now and I just end up getting stuck. I think I need to get a tutorial with no plugins required that'll give me a really good lesson on layers, what to do with them and show how the transparency values effect each layer. I think This tutorial fits that description pretty well.
  10. I'm trying to do another but i don't know very well No, not the picture. I meant that people add "Im porteguese and.." as if that effects the quality of their work
  11. Do you have a link to the height field plugin? I can't find it. Oma: Can you explain a little more? I'm confused.
  12. I was following a Photoshop tutorial today, and they used a plastic wrap effect. Here's an example of what it does... example... How would I go about replicating this in PDN?
  13. Also, you could try madjiks(?) panelling plugin, and just press ctrl+f for each layer after the first.
  14. I think all he wants is PDN on the internet. If so, This could be useful in the future.
  15. First, download the trial version of Cinema4D
  16. Hah, look how those "smart" photoshop users make 3d text  Just look at the first few steps
  17. I find it funny that people feel the need to add that kind of thing to their gallery/s first posts on the forum
