Hello everyone, somewhat nervous about posting this after seeing some of the stunning work you guys have put up, but it's my first attempt at any type of photo editing. I would rather have it critiqued here before I use it on my home forums.
I play FFXI and this is a sig inspired by a lightning based spell in game.

If you notice in the large image I pulled the character from, there is a brilliant light animation that goes with the casting. I was unsuccessful in transfering that to the final image. Also i was trying to go for an after image. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
