  1. Try to, Copy the picture of your object into a new layer. Use Brightness Contrast and do it as black as you can or almost black. Then Use Brightness/Contrast to make it a little brighter to fit your color (greydark). Now use Gaussian blur on it or Motion blur in the way you want it to look blurred, and afterwards Ctrl+Shift+Z to rotate it in the Z, Y or X Axis.
  2. Well, we are 2 persons right now. I hope other people is interrested too, since i've been waiting for a plugin like this in some time now. Thx for at least taking notice
  3. I would like to have a plugin that can count a pixel with the same color or in a specific color range in RGB. And maybe so it should be able to select them too. Would be usefull for me, when i am working with textures with black background in a BMP file.
  4. Oh, and btw your trees & textures looks very good too. I would like to see some close-up screens of them soon if you got some Will help me much in my own work
  5. I got some topics i created long ago. You may find them helpful  "Making textures in Paint.NET" "Turn texture needs higher detail..." "Mossy trunk texture" "Seamless grass tutorial needed!"
  6. When i make my textures using Paint.NET i always keep a black (0 0 0) background and not include it in the actual image before flatten. And it would probaly be a good idea to keep the skin itself in one layer, and the UV Mapping & background color in an other. me myself is making 3D models n' textures for Re-Volt, but I usually start by making the textures and afterwards UV Map because I find it a little easier. I think it is a good idea to keep everything on their own layers. Oh, and i would like to see the trees you mention. I like to make vegetation myself, thats why im interrested
  7. I am creating a Re-Volt Magazine using Paint.NET. If you want to have a look click here. Then you can get inspired if you want
  8. If the images are all the same size, you can just use Ctrl+C - Ctrl+V on every image instead of writing the same again and again. I dont got any other ideas, sry
  9. I am making a Magazine at the moment, but cant work with it graphically in Open Office. I think that way is very usefull. I will try it later. But is it possible to have more pages when you print :?:
  10. Well, i will always appreciate that you post a little tutorial, but if you don't like to post, or have other things to do, go ahead.
  11. When i finish a work, or need comments or feedback on something i dont feel is acceptable, i always post a topic, where i explain what i did, and ask what people think. Sharing information is the best way to get information back. EDIT: Cool, i really like your result. How did you do it?
  12. Sorry for the double-post but I got a render of my track using the new grass texture, which by the way I made seamless. Click to enlarge I am very happy with the result of the grass. This is one of the most important textures for my track (the whole landscape is using that texture), so i either had to find something on inet (Like everyone else who dont want to learn paint does) or make one myself. I would like to thank you all for helping me, as i guess the topic is ending. Well, if you still got something on mind like a suggestion to improve the texture, or a comment to it, you can just reply. I'll be happy for that

  14. Yea, it probaly does. But it is still a pretty good way. It's good for pictures, but maybe for textures it will be a little bit hard to make seamless.

  16. I created 3 rock textures using some of the tutorials on the Stone 101 topic. This is the result i get when blending all 3 together: After that, i added a new layer to my original grass texture and pasted the 3in1 texture to it. I gave the 3in1 texture a light green colour, and changed the opacity in Layer Properties to 159. This is my result: It is not seamless yet, but i will try out some different methods to do it seamless What do you think?

  20. aah, your maybe right. I have to try it when i come home. I'll post the results here. I wonder how my texture will look if i blended all three textures together. It might turn up very nice

  24. Someone93: i tried out your method on some noise and on my texture too, and it gives a nice effect. But i still prefer my grass as it was before. Also because it was harder to make the grass seamless after the smudge. But thank you anyway. I appreciate that you shared your secret MadJik: For some reason the Oblique either doesnt have thoose settings you use in your tutorial, or else i can't read what the letters stands for. Here is the Oblique i got installed: All suggestions will be appreciated related to the grass texture and everything. i really appreciate your help, i hope you know that.
