  1. is reminding the children to Pillage and THEN burn!

  2. Nice work, I like the sense of flow you've created with the colours in the wallpaper, well done

  4. Thank you very much, glad you like the images In terms of tutorials, this one will get you well under way in terms of making space-scapes: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=27083 The rest is really about using your imagination and experimenting / building on the outlines of that tutorial. Thank you very much for the compliments, though I'm not sure what you mean by the "what would you call that exactly?" I'm assuming my Avatar (the image to the left, under my user name)?

  6. Great work overall but I particularly like the "Baby Whale Little Fish", "Dance the Night Away" and "Experiment in Droste" images. "Dance of the Silk Kimono" is another very intriguing piece well done.
  7. Overall I think you did well, especially for a first signature. Good spacing and composition and your lettering is of perfect size. If I'd had to critique anything I'd say that the lower text is a little hard to read as it doesn't contrast with the background but perhaps a slightly darker shade of green or a shadow can help with that. Good job
  8. I like the second image as well, the graphics you've added create a sense of motion and speed in the image, which really helps sell the car. The go cart image is good but shouldn't be all blurry, the idea of these action shots is to have a very crisp focus on the subject and to blur out the rest of the shot to add to that focus. The signature on that shot distracts a bit, perhaps make it smaller or make it stand out less. Overall nice work though, and very good for so called "amateur" pictures
  9. Nice work I especially like how you did the veins on the fairy's wings and the magic flowing around her, well done!
  10. Nice work on those new hearts, I like how they all flow into each other, very nicely done
  11. Thanks again I actually have two more planetary pieces and I'm working on another one. I'll see if I can upload them soon and perhaps rearrange the gallery a bit so that they're together.
  12. I will thanks again for the encouraging feedback. Thank you very much for the compliment but actually none of these are hand-drawn, my drawing skills are very rusty to say the least (I haven't drawn in 20 years). They're all photo manipulations; I.e. pictures that I've merged together, given a theme and added a background and other things to (in the space pictures for instance I've used a texture to make the planets and added everything else in PdN. You can find the base pictures by following the links under each image if you like.
  13. Great job on the red ball, space impact and the signatures, very interesting mixed of colours and darkness. Well done
  14. Love how you made that glossy heart globe, it feels absolutely real, well done.
  15. Thank you very much, I really appreciate all the positive feedback I just finished another fantasy piece and am working on a Sci-fi piece right now.
  16. Updated the front page gallery with latest piece: Natalis
  17. Love the lines and colours used in the second piece, it really has a painted feel and quality to it, well done
  18. Hadn't really thought about that since I'm actually not a Star Wars fan (blasphemy, I know). I can see how it fits though Thank you very much, glad you like them
  19. Wonderful job on the signatures and that lost wall image is really well done, a serene, inspiring image; I'd have to agree with the motivational poster image
  20. Thank you very much, I'm actually also new to this forum but I've been using PdN for about 8 months now, it's a really easy program to learn and use
  21. Thank you very much, for the wonderful comment and the feedback glad you enjoyed the gallery. The problems with the stars in origins (as well as Remember Algernon and U.H.R. Explorer) turned out to be files size. The stars are bright but to small to show up on the limited 800x600 previews on DeviantArt, if you click on the download link you get the image in true full view 2520 x 1920 and they show up without any problems. Annoying to be honest, I'm contemplating making them bigger but don't want them to big as they're supposed to be distant, still playing around with that problem
  22. I really like your signature great idea combining all those effects, it came out really well.
  23. Thank you, I think I must have added 3 tinted layers on top of that moon to get to the right shade to be honest, more luck than skill
  24. *bows* thank you very much, I'm glad you're enjoying these
  25. Thank you very much I enjoy doing these, just don't have enough time to work on these more often.
