  1. Omigosh! I'm not sure if I dare even show this amongst these few pages of awesomeness.. Trust me, it looks better fullview.. Had this inexplicable surge of making a flower.. I searched a nice picture of a rose and only by paintbrush and many layers and varying transparencies and whatnot that is what came up.. the original which's background can still be seen distorted was a good deal smaller; it's not fake
  2. Universal Concept and Shades of Grey. Incredible! Thank you for showing us these
  3. Not actually related to PdN, but: Try and keep the folder where you save your final/WIP/source images in order. On my old computer, I just saved everything in the same folder with the thought "Nah, they'll be there and I'll find them" After _some_ time of PdNing, there were several hundred files in the same folder. And you want to find a single one. Hopeless. Nowadays, I have a folder for source images, a folder for WIPs, a folder for final images, one for *.pdn:s and one for *.png:s. And every major, larger project deserves its own folder.

Thank you, Ash, for this! Perfect for a project I'm working on right now
  5. The WOLF and Out Of The Deep are something great, out of this world(sense a subtle(ish) indication towards Impact, which too, is something unbeliavably ..beautiful). The Wolf just.. is pure beauty. Out of the deep seems at first very simple, which it after a moment of admiring turns out not to be at all. Thank you for giving us all this! [/flatteringcausedbysheerawesomeness]
  6. Always=two times out of who knows who many? True, though, I've found (once again) the greatness that is Shape 3D. Be at ease, for it is no longer green goo. Nowadays, it is purple goo, just for you And, a glass of champagne mead I made quite some time ago..
  7. I actually do not have a clue what it is, but it seems there's more where it came from I'll add a fire under it and other slight changes later..
  8. Thank you for this! Made this one based on this tut. Easy and yet very versatile and easily extended. Very nice!
  9. Thank you! As to the bottom of the glass, it is there but supposedly due to the vast number of duplicate layers and varying blend modes it somehow is no longer visible.. Hadn't actually even noticed it was missing As to the liquid, I made the portion inside and the one outside have different transparencies AND different luminosities. No idea where they went EDIT: I made those changes.. Just had to as they were so unnerving. Original post on the previous page updated
  10. As has been said, wouldn't have thought of this were it not for this tut. A background to a mp3-player, about our dog
  11. Possum, I must congratulate you on that one 1000*1000 .PNG Something I whipped up today.. I know, the floor is not properly tiled and there are :AntiAliasingOff: spots all over the place.. I do not want need any constructive criticism since it was only for practice/having a go at this tut I will appreciate criticism, but I will not be likely to make any changes to it EDIT: Corrected the faults Possum pointed out in the post below this one..
  12. Thank you, as you're saying it, it means much. What might you mean by "needs some work"? I adjusted the hue and smoothened out the completely black spots (and they've now got a subtle shadow); might there be anything else that needs attending to?

  16. Headstock..? Never heard, but it appears to be the right name They look much better now. Although, comparing to the guitar I have next to me.. They're a little short..? I lightened my picture a bit and edited the post to show the new version. Please, an opinion

  20. Sums it pretty effectively Jerkfight, as it has been said, the stars are almost perfect. The picture has a nice alignment. Goonfella, those guitars are just.. wonderful. Just the 'upper ends'(no idea what they're really called; that wedge-shaped piece that has the adjustment knobs ) seem somehow.. off I was trying to follow a tut and.. I saw another nice tut and another and they all got entwined and.. See for yourself 1000*1000 .png, all PdN except for a few brushes (those words are from a song by HIM, named Pretending) EDIT: This version's a bit lighter than the original EDIT2: Adjusted the hue of the rings and smoothened the ring's shines Constructive criticism is always appreciated

  24. atypicalcarl, that made me hungry I see there's a sudden pandemic of treemaking. *enjoying the results* A friend of mine tried to make a glass of wine in PdN.. I'm sorry to say this, but it was horrible soo.. My first-ever try at making a glass of wine I see all the little faults in it.. I'll do better next time
  25. I've been productive today (full size 480*480 (I thought he was 800*800, weird..)He is 800*800, Imageshack messed something up :? , click it ) This is a mascot crocodile named Snappy He's currently on a vacation, he likes any place that's warm and sunny and has a beach. He's even got a reedmat and a slice of watermelon. And he's 100 % PdN.
