is there some method of updating of which i'm unaware? because neither Boltbait's Outline nor Pyrochild's Outline Object work for me, as i mentioned above. this is after complete reinstalls of both plugins. as mentioned above. perhaps i should've mentioned that both were reinstalled from their latest zip packages? (Pyro's, for instance, was just updated yesterday). EDIT: perhaps i was being hasty in testing? after messing around some this morning, i realized that neither Outline nor Outline Object works for me on the background layer, but does work for me on any other layer. hadn't tried this, because i didn't think the layer being attempted would make a difference, but that just goes to show you what i know anyway, both are working, and i apologize for adding another thread without fully testing first.

hello all, and first allow me to say thanks for the awesome program and plugins. i've been using paint.net for a short while now, but long enough to see that it's an excellent application, and until tonight i've not had any problems. however, tonight i downloaded two new plugins, one renders fire and the other creates a firey outline. since i've added these to the Effects folder, my regular outline (which i use heavily) no longer works at all. i've tried removing the two new DLLs, reinstalling the outline plugin (both Boltbait's and Pyro's), then i removed paint.net and reinstalled, along with new installs of the plugins, and when that didn't work, i tried to perform a system restore. nothing worked! :evil: now when i hit Outline or Outline Object, nothing appears at all, regardless of width, strength, background color, or primary color. i can't think of anything else to try at this point, and i have no idea what happened to my outline. any assistance would be very much appreciated.
