Try overlapping the brushes over the render to blend. And use gradient map and/or color tint.

But good nonetheless (I have really never used that word before. lol) Try using C4Ds. And try deph'n (just made that up. ha.) Also read some photoshop sig tutorials. Try SigResource.M'kay! Thanks mate!
