  1. I'm not sure pdn is what you're looking for, I suggest you first get a bit familiar with it and then decide if you're going to use it.
  2. Nice I like them all.
  3. Sorry oma, but I couldn't make a katana using this tut with some (minor) adjustments, maybe I will try again later.

oma I would be satisfied with your background, but as always you blow my mind of, maybe it's time i get used to it.
  5. I like the dolphins, but the distorted light on them should be less clustered, just random lines, no white spots, but overall well done, as always.
  6. You can't never get a cut out exactly the way you want it, because at the edge of the object it is anti-aliased, even with photos, but for best results lasso select or eraser tool.
  7. Can you show us a screenshot of your effects folder of Paint.NET?
  8. @soul41: I love the clouds, they're so realistic.
  9. beautiful works, and about the tut: learning is never bad, sometimes just boring.
  10. As another way to do step 3 you can use brightness/constrast and set constrast to 100, this way you don't have to download any plug-ins.
  11. Maybe that's because you don't use borders very often.
  12. The alpha masks are just simple images, most of the times black and white and they are used to set the alpha value of the image you're working on. let's start with one pixel, the first of both your original image and the mask: let's say your original image's alpha value is 255: not transparent and the average of red, green and blue of the mask's image is 0, the alpha value of the first pixel is set to 0. Then the same is done with the next pixel. Short version: Alpha value=(mask's red value + mask's green value + mask's blue value)/ 3 To use an alpha mask you download the alpha mask plugin (search) and save an image you want to be your alpha mask, then in your other image you use the alpha mask plugin with your mask and press the ok button.
  13. Is it allowed to use a programm beside PDN? For example to get some tablet support?
  14. I like it, but still prefer the pillars of creation, sorry.
  15. My advise would be to use this tut, with different colours and longer grass. Also a few slight gradients in the first sliver could do miracles.
  16. Count me for the pyrochild kind on this one, I think my brain calculates my focus by using the allignment of my eyes, so I can't change one without changing the other, I can however focus my eye lens to object more closer, however I don't see how that could help here. As for your tip, david, as soon as I move my eyes after looking a foot behind my monitor, my eyes refocus...
  17. yes you are the only one that's funny on this forum . I also have a reguest: I would like to see the vista like wallpaper again, just as an example.
  18. I like the vista looking wallpaper, but I don't like the background, unfortunately I have no idea how you could change it.
  19. the night sky's clouds are a bit blurred.

I love daffy, but the leave should be more narrow at the bottom of the flower
  21. @yellowman: I like the easter thing, however it seems kind of bright, try using some shadows. @LFC4EVER: I wrote a "Y" in webdings, just don't tell anyone.
  22. Also you can just begin with a blank canvas and use a tut for some parts of your creation, I know I did , so just look around and see what kinds of tuts we have here.
  23. @yellowman: it's madjik's buttons plugin. This is my latest, I didn't really knew where to post this. I'm actually satisfied with it, haven't done a lot of work lately, so it's good to get busy again.
  24. You could use the wings on Asterix's helmet, from Asterix and Obelix, yes I know this is a crazy idea, but I do like the wings.
