Good to see the horse finished, it looks good, but you have done better before.
-
Maybe this could help you:
In IE8, mozilla firefox (don't know which version) and google chrome you can open a link in a new tab without going there immediately by pressing the mouse wheel and when you see the page is loaded you can see the beautiful image, without wasting time waiting.

Great fist plug-in.

BTW I did vote...

Very nice rose, I like it better now, even though I first loved it.
-
About the background of the rose: This background isn't very nice, but I do think that a background would do good, you just need a different background and maybe you could make the edges less blurred.
-
Maybe you should add a background to your lilly (or your rose), make it not very realistic, the problem with your images is that it looks real, and because of that ordinary, we're all familiar with real, so it loses some of its "power".

nemo, I think that if you'd stick around and practice you would be one of the best members of this forums.

You could draw it a bit from above and if you'd draw a monk he could have his cap (?) on. (That thing so he can't really see his hair.)
-
An idea for a piece:
2 Cliffs and a small wooden rope bridge between them, in the ravine there are clouds, so you can't really see the ground. If you come really far you could draw a person trying to cross it. Don't make it Indiana Jones style, but more medieval, maybe with a monk or something, soldiers would be cool too.

New one and no, the image is just blue (#00439A), I tried this with my sig, it's the size of my sig, but just blue. The second time I tried this the same happened but I did see window, sorry for reporting wrong and for the Dutch translation, I didn't even notice it.
By the way the current desktop background did work.
-
OMG you're extremely fast with PDN.
-
One time I got this on windows XP
Hidden Content:(I hope you understand that I hide this.)and after opening it a blue desktop, after changing the center/stretch/tile the place where my image should have been stayed blue and the rest grey.
The second time it did nothing.

@Lance: http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=30570, it's a workaround, but it works. (atleast for most of his plugins)
@dpy: Thanks.

I'm in, I haven't used PDN in a while and could use some change.
-
I wouldn't know how it would be illegal, but I'm not a lawyer, so I'm not sure.
-
Would your mini tut include Octagonal/Quadrilateral reshape/matte? I hope it doesn't, it doesn't work good with PDN 3.5.
-
http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=16&t=24685, that the best we have, the text tool can't do want you want, sorry.

Ash, if you wouldn't have had those muscles, I would have said that when seeing the thumbnail I thought you drew mellons.
-
First question: When using an alpha mask the average of the colors of the mask will become the alpha value of the image you mask, so if the egdes of your mask are anti-aliased, your image will become anti-aliased when using an alpha mask. Best way to understand is experimenting.
Second question: Use custom brushes mini, at the bottom the brushes window you will find "import brushes" click on this.
Third question: http://paintdotnet.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=26975

Ash, you have the number 2 most viewed gallery (oma wins this one), 2 images in the galleria belong to you, when you "mess around" with PDN you get result I would kill someone for and you're asking us wether or not we want more? I would investigate cloning just to see more images from you. But you shouldn't create images just for us, you have to enjoy it too.

It's even better then I thought, great.

I was talking about your other works, I guess that could explain a lot.
And the horse has no fur on it's body, it's like a shiny snail with legs and beautiful hair.
