Ok..
I didn't understand exactly what you said, so I tried my own 'experiment'.
It seems, that 14 brushes is my limit..
If I have 15+ brushes in my folder, the Custom Brushes plugin crashes.
There is also a folder called "Language" in my Custom Brushes folder..
Is that normal?
It's normal, but another thought is, disk cleanup, defragment, and then you may have better luck. I have a ton of pics. use abr viewer to convert abr files to png. use a png cruncher to shrink the size of your pngs, that may help (png gauntlet).
Alright cool,
I'll defragment and do a disk cleanup--thanks for reminding me x]
and I'll try that png gauntlet, too.

In your earlier post, you wrote 3.3
I didn't include the six xP
hah, wow.I'm so lost on this.
Ok, so 3.36 is not the latest version of PDN?
Because that's the one I am currently using.
or is Custom Brushes 5.1 not supposed to go with 3.36?
You do have the latest version of each. I do, and they work. So it might be a problem with overtaxing the ram on your comp (just a guess) or something unrelated to the plugin is your issue ( a corrupt brush, for example). Hopefully someone a little more tech savvy can help. If worse comes to worse, you can uninstall the program, delete all plugins, and start over, and see if you have the same problem. (make sure to get rid of all old plugins, sometimes they linger after installing new ones).
I think I'll use that as a last resort..
Pablo look in your "C:\My Documents\Paint.NET User Files\Custom Brushes" folder. If the folder is empty put a PNG in there. Does that fix it?Ok..

Ok, I used to use Custom Brushes with no problem..
but now everytime I open it up, everything freezes up and closes without
giving me a chance to save..
I have Paint.NET 3.3 and Custom Brushes 5.1
*ahem*
Paint.NET 3.36 ?? Ahem?
Oh.
yeah.
Is that the problem?
3.36?

You used brushes on the BMW signature, right?
If so, could you link to them? x]
