If you are talking about the FAQ at the top right corner then that is the forum's FAQ. The actual Paint.net user guide is availible by pressing F1 while using Paint.net. However as far as I know there is no printable Paint.net user guide (some people would like to make a book if I am not mistaken though.) From what I understand you only have access to the internet from your office. If so then why not save the webpage to a flash drive/memory stick/pen drive and take it home?

I like this, but is it possible to make it a little less random to suite your current needs (e.g a random effect from the render menu or the distort menu depending on what you want to do with the picture)?

For a speech bubble you can just use the ellipse tool on filled shape with outline mode then just add text. Thoughts can be a little different (maybe try selecting your area holding control and fill with white). But I supppose if somebody has the free time it would help.

Do you mean for example you type in text then use buttonise and it becomes a button? If so, I think it would be possible after seeing the firey text plugin. But dont take my word for it, I dont make the plugins here! Anyone else think it can be done?

Try reading the Paint.net help file (press F1 while using Paint.net), that should help you with all the basics.

I don't know were you are from dangermouse and I don't knwo much about these settings but the one were the picture increases in quality will satisfy me because I live in South Africa and the average internet connection is 384kbps (yes we do actually have internet in Africa dont look so amazed).
Bottom line is that I agree.

I have a 2 of questions:
1 - Will there ever be a "preview" function, so that you can see the line while the mouse is held down and before you release it? (Does that make sense to you?
)2 - Will the custom brush and custom texture be move to this menu?

Do you mean spiroshapes? That generates a wierd shape, what I want to do is fill the canvas with circles (like using the elipse tool but automatically, fill the canvas instead of manualy doing it). So you have a lot of different circles covering the canvas.

Would it be possible to have a plugin that can fill the canvas with shapes (mainly circles as grid maker can do squares and rectangles)? Maybe have the option for random alpha, touching or not, what colours ect. Can you think of a good reason to make such a plugin? I just had the idea, not the use. :oops:

Yes, they are visible but no, my knowledge does not extend far enough to help you. Maybe one of the more experienced Paint.neters can. Anyone?

OK then, try this. Do the same thing (pic with text on a higher layer). Then use magic wand to select and delete the text space.

There is a drop shadow plugin (I'm too lazy, use the amazing search function!)
For help on using layers, go to the help file (press F1 while using Paint.net)

Mine isnt working. I download it, install it, open it up and no matter what I do with the sliders, it doesnt do anything :shock:
