  1. I didn't use it on text, but on a picture (I've been wanting to do this for a long time, and your tutorial is just very easy to follow, so I used your tutorial!).

    See my result here:

(I've also added a littlebit of Zoom Blur)

  2. Good work on that, I saw it somewhere else on the forum too!

    Great job :D

Thanks! And you saw it on the "explosion" tutorial. That was my first post ever! :D.

The first one was better. Second one is a bit too busy...Good work, though!

I agree . But I love the electric effect, so I wanted to try if I could make the explosion really like an electric boom ^^.

You have a good style and very creative.

Thanks! I love to hear you like my style!

  3. Wow, that's been a few months since my last visit, but I'm back!

    - More works to come, please post comments that are useful to me :D -

    - Most of my works are made using tutorials found on the official PDN tutorialforum, but ofcourse they are edited a little  -

  4. Please comment/rate my picture! You can also PM me with any requests!

I downloaded PDN for a contest for wich I needed to create a cool signature.

I didn't make a forum account, because I could read all tuts and I didn't feel like posting my own creation, until now!

See my result: (sorry for .PNG format)

I think I don't have to tell you how I got the colours, but the "electric" effect* is something I will explain:

When you use [Effects > Render > Clouds...] set the Blend Mode to "Difference". Press [Ctrl + F] and you will have "black lightning". Now go to [Adjustments > Invert colors]. You can't see the lightning very clear now, so now go to [Adjustments > Levels...] and put the Middle Arrows in the Output down. Now you have beautiful white lightning.

Now just go on to step 3!

    Also, skip step 15 and 16;

× 15 because the electric effect will be deleted by this.

× 16 because it makes the electricity look like a worm =P
