I need to make a sign. I have the wood texture for a background. I need to make the text look like it has been burned into the texture and not just printed ontop of it. help please

i tried this Myrddin uninstalled it but my computer would not let me delet the folder. it said either disk is full or it is in use? oh well guess i was just not ment to use the plugins. will hope that pdn makes a new version soon with some of these great plugins like the reflection as part of the program. but thank you any way for you suggestions

i have used the boltbaits plugins successfully. yestderday i downloaded a new plugin. now none of my plugins will come up wheni open paint. they are still in the program effects folder but they just are not on the paintshop when i open it. i have them unblocked. i even deleted and reloaded a few of my plugins that were working before and they still will not come up now. .help pleasee i need my reflection back for a project i am working on

thanks but that post just tells you how to install a plugin and open it in more detail.. my problem is i had the plugins in and working yesteday and today though they are still in the program folder no longer show up when i open paint and click on effects. i have even tried deleting the plug in and reinstalling it and it still not in the paint when i open it up. but again thank you for your help

hi i had downloaded a few of boltbaits plugins. since they were easier. and yesterday they worked fine. today when i open my paint.net. they are not on my effects menu any more. but they are still showing in my effects program folder. the only thing i had done since then was add a plug in from another user. but it doesnt show up either.none of myplugins are coming up when i am in paint now. anyone have this problem too?? i am lost without my reflection plugin. hellpp

ok.. im feeling alittle dumb now i did find the text button on the tools bar.. .. and no im not blonde.lol i so if someone can show me some ways to make my text 3d or special in any way besides changing the type of font i would be really grateful

ohh hmm never mind i think i found it

im abit confused. ive never downloaded plugins before. once you download them.do they not appear in paint automatically? or do you have to do additional steps? because if so i have no idea what to do after it is downloaded. help please

hey does anyone know of software i can use or download. for artistic and unusual text to go with my pictures i am making on paint.net. and i am so loving my paintshop. i have even started making some good money doing digital artwork with it. i just need a better text program since paint does not do text. helppp pleaseee

ok i have tried and gotten the background to go away on a pic .i have used the gradiant tool and see hwo that works now my problem is this. when i copy the pic i am trying to make transparent to another background it shows up all faded and all but it is in a very defined circle or square . however i copy and paste it. how do i lay the transparent pic on another layer without there being a definate edge or frame around it? hope that makes sense? oh ya and how do you get the pics to appear all at once in the layers square. i have them in theupper right hand corner but the only way ican work with multiple layers right now is to copy and paste them on top of each other icant get more than one pic in the layers window onthe bottom right at time

I am trying to make a picture by placing several pictures on a single background in varying levels of transparency. i have no idea how to do this...help please. i just got this today and i cant even figure out how to work or open more than one picture at a time. please. i suck at tech. talk so please in plain english.
