  1. sorry but i didnt find this type of functionality as a request
  2. would it not be the same thing? making changeable text can be achieved by adding vector functionality?
  3. would it be possible to comment on a pdn file using sticky notes as in adobe comments? could we add: - subject - comment - add a picture to this note (converted to low resoltion) to show what we are talking about in the comment - specify the color of th note - auto-popup note on hover why? i want to walk around on site - detect a problem - make a sticky note on the drawing for exact location of the issue - make the comment - import a picture from webcam that is glued to my tablet extra - export the sticky notes to a seperate file with an extra field action or status
  4. in paint.net we always work on bitmaps? would it be possible to lock the vector layers and only show them? and that we add information in bitmap layers?
  5. import dwg-files (autocad and such) - keep layers intact - add layer hierarchy (make sure that the picture is not generating every layer each time but only the group layer for performance purposes) - keep files as vector - merge layers why? i am using paint.net as a free tool to comment drawings (for planning/ work follow-up) i tried a lot of the programs but this isthe most efficient tool for me. however i have some problems. to import a drawing so that it is still readable i need to create a picture that has a resolution of 3500 x 2500 which is huge to work with. considering that i have easily 15 to 25 layers, my pagefile is growing larger that 3500 mb. and i have 3 gb of ram at my disposal! now i figure that if you would work with vector grafics directly imported from dwg file that the file could be a lot smaller, lowering the load of my computer. if you figure to implement this feature, i could help with testing it
  6. would it be possible to add an extra window with buttons that you can customize? e.g. i want a button that - selects line tool with line thickness of 5 and color red - selects line tool with line thickness of 50 and color blue - selects text tool color yellow, font X, weight Z to add a setting to a button - add a button to rightclick menu when a figure is being created - "add these settings to macromenu" or "add as SIMBA" - open/focus (symba)window with overview of the buttons - layout of button: tool, color, line weight make the macro window have functionality like http://www.symbaloo.com/ for easy selection or deletion or adjustment of properties
