yeah, i had some trouble getting the outside of the paper also.. i figured it out though, but im not sure how. sorry your picture turned out nice, although you might try having the layer with the lines more transparent, and maybe make them less straight and more curvy and not so structured. good job (:

how does this look? i dont like it all the way. like, something's not right about it, but i can't fix it. i think its the shadow behind the tree, and there's no light coming from behind the clouds, but i dont know how to fix that. oh, i added some yellow behind the clouds, and it looks a litttttle better, because theres some yellow highlights on the grass. but its still not right. any suggestions or comments? its pretty slow loading, even though i reduced the size... sorry.

I have SP2 I am pretty sure. What does this mean? Do I have to go back to SP1 just to use this..? Or is there another fix for PDN without re-installing it? Can I use an earlier version of PDN, like I used before? If so, where's the link to the earlier versions? All I can find is the current one. If I do a System Restore to the point that PDN created before I upgraded, will it work then do you think, or has someone tried this and it not work? (Sorry if this hijacking again. I had questions about what they posted. At least the first questions are about that, the rest kindof branch off from those, haha. sorry if i am. ill make a new thread if i have to.)

Umm, I don't know how to do what he just did. But, after updating to this new version my thing keeps on crashing now. It worked fine yesterday though.. I was able to edit an image a lot and do a bunch of stuff. But now when I try to repeat that process it keeps exiting out every time I open it. It worked fine today until I hit ctrl shift p to turn my image to sepia and then it crashed and every time after that. Help would be appreciated!! My project is due by wednesday and i only have 1/3 of it done.. but thanks for this great program!! EDIT: wooo I didnt know I was hijacking it. oops. thanks.

Thanks so much for this tutorial, I am fairly inexperienced with the program and this helped me immensely! I am working on a school project in which I had to create a "work of art" which could be a painting, song, poem, etc. But I am not very gifted in the arts, so I asked if I could stage a photograph. My project is about the Great Depression so I took several pictures of my brother in an empty lot across the street from us. I plan to use this picture (below) and two others to create a photo collage mounted on black foam board. I couldn't have created this without this tutorial thank you so much!
