  1. Wow, that was prompt! Thank you very much -- that handles my problem nicely.
  2. I tend to work with extremely tiny pixel-level art, and so I often have occasion to need to move around small blocks of pixels. Now, as you're probably familiar with, the move tools stretch the area if you drag the "handles" along the edge of the selection, and drag the entire selection or selected pixels if you drag any other area within the selection. The program considers you to be clicking on the handles if you click anywhere within a small distance from the handles. The trouble is that for very small selections (13 or fewer pixels to both width and height), the "handle zones" all overlap, meaning that there's no place on the selection where you can click to move it. This is really only a problem for people like me who work with ridiculously tiny selections, but it seems it could be avoided by making the size of the "handle zones" based on the resolution at which the user is working, rather than having a fixed-pixel minimum size. That way it would be possible to get a grip on the selection body by zooming in until the handles are small relative to the selection.
