  1. Probably a silly question but are competitors allowed to vote?
  2. Doh. Should have thought of that. So does my school, but they won't update to the beta (understandable), and they don't allow plugins to be added, for security or something. :x
  3. I haven't been able to find a suitable article to get rid of the silly "citation needed" that has appeared here: . It annoys me somewhat. And I found this article/post thing, not sure if its been reported or not: http://www.computerarticles.co.uk/paint-net-v3-5/
  4. Bad luck mate, but I think that Sozo might be lenient about the daylight saving situation and that you'll hopefully still be able to enter your signature.
  5. Did barkbark post his entry in time or was he too late?
  6. And entries closed half an hour ago! I made it hehe
  7. Thanks you two, and I'll add a wallpaper to my to-do list over these holidays then. It's probably good to do something other than signatures all the time
  8. Phew I'm cutting it a bit close. I used one render: http://planetrenders.net/renders/displa ... pos=-50102
  9. Sure will do! Thanks for the comments everyone. Sharp gave me a suggestion for my current sig; so i plan to give it a try! I'm always up for improvement. What do you guys think? I will withhold judgment til you guys give some feedback. Original! (Current) Stars! Edit - faded out stars a wee bit
  10. Hello! Small update guys (and gals), just a few pieces. And a random note - if you haven't checked it out already go and see Crimson's "Create a Professional-Looking Product Advertisment Mockup" tutorial. It's really great!
  11. First can i say this is an amazing tutorial, I'll get onto making something with it pronto . Secondly, what is the font that you used for the tagline "thinking a head is a beautiful thing"?
  12. Thanks Flip! And to the rest of you for the encouragement. @ ajson111: No I haven't made any tutorials yet sorry. The background used in this picture was made using the Light Rays plugin and for the border take a look at Sozo's Glass Border Tutorial. Hope that helps.
  13. Thanks Helen and Goonfella! And the font used in my current signature is called El Diablo, here's the dafont page for it. And thanks for your..... contribution ajson111.
  14. Thanks Raptor. I've made a new gallery update tag, because the first one wasn't too great. The new one is simple and less obtrusive instead of: Also, what do you guys think about this avatar I fiddled with? Comments appreciated!
  15. Hey there! I'm sorry to say this is only the first time I have commented on your work  , but might I add a Well Done x10 for all the times I haven't, coz this gallery is great. You have tons of really good stuff here, keep it up, and I really do like your ticket sig, inventive idea and realistic. Well Done!

  17. Hello everybody! I've been dormant for waay too long *4 months cough* on both the forum and Paint.NET itself. Here is a well needed update of some signatures and avatars. Enjoy! And also note the new "Zwicky Update" tag I've placed on my biggest update posts. Then I made a couple of stand-alone avatars, after experimenting with a popular Photoshop tutorial that involved making a Photoshop CS3 icon, using Paint.NET to do it (instead of Ps). That sorta led/evolved to the creation of a Viva la Vida art-inspired sig set labeled Coldplay. And finally last night I created a little text sig set upon downloading some fonts onto the new computer that i just set up for the family. So ciao for now, and I hope the next time you hear from me in the gallery won't be as long as last time!

  19. The New Zealand PC World magazine includes the latest stable release of Paint.NET in a free software DVD it packages with its magazines every month under "Essentials"
  20. Thanx, you're right of course. I had this weird idea in my head that it wouldn't work because of the directories and stuff (we use H: drive) and that i had to put the destination folder directly on the drive holding my flash drive. My bad. Thanks for the help!
  21. Is it possible to have Paint.NET installed so that you can run it on a school computer on a flash drive for example, but you can also have a seperate installation for home or the ability run Paint.NET without having to rely on the flash drive the entire time? I've run into this problem myself, sorry if its already been answered somewhere. I did look at the Paint.NET Bootable CD tut before trying, however it wasn't too much help.
  22. It's called Toonish, i got it form dafont.com. Here's the link Thanks for visiting! And thanks to the people who have dropped in comments, it's much appreciated! And also here's a wittle update of a few pieces you guys may have seen around. Added:
  23. I have finally gotten back my computer, and best of all, Paint.NET! So without further ado, Added: And my entry into the second round of the SDOTY competition - I am making a mini-sig group i guess, of the seven fruits of the spirit. It'll be growing on my main page. Can't you tell I'm in an orange mood? I've also made quite a few changes to the layout of my main gallery page, and re-organised the section so it's not so hard on people's internet - thanks to survulus' gallery for the idea. Happy New Year y'all, and let it be known to the Web that Zwicky is back in business.
