No problem rwp.

For your iTouch, I see a few problems. First of all, you have a black background behind the PDN logo, while the real background is actually a lighter shade of gray. You may have to look closely to see it. Also, the PDN logo looks kind of out of place, because while the other apps have square icons, the PDN icon is rectangular, taller than it is wide. Just some suggestions. Other than that, great work!

I assume you are talking about my sig Grizzle? If so, thank you. -
Thanks. And also, you might want to edit your sig. The total dimensions (all images) must fit into a 500 x 150 px space. Currently your total width is 760 pixels.

My favorite would have to be the frog one. If I am not mistaken, he is from the movie ... ah, the name escapes me at the moment, but I remember it's about the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Ah yes, Hoodwinked. Anyways, excellent use of lighting and shadows, provides contrast to the piece. Nice job!

How to make a transparent background

Search for "Cutting Out Images." Hope this helps! -
Oh, cool. I went to Asia once (China). It was too hot for me. And stinky. Especially in the big cities.

Here it is, both of them for side by side comparison. o.o P.S. Presuming you live in California, why are you always only on at like, 12 in the morning? At least, that's the most often time I see you on.

Thanks! Unfortunately, I forgot to save a layered .pdn file before closing, but I'll see what I can do with the flattened version. 8) I'm thinking: Invert Colors Brighten by a little bit. Run a low saturation blue-ish cyan color tint.

Hello, Nidif, welcome to the forums. First of all, this has been posted in the wrong section, questions like these belong in General Discussion and Questions. You should read the rules before posting any further. Now, to answer your question, you will want to have the Gradient Mapping plug-in (search it up). You may also wish to read a tutorial on Gradient Mapping. Pick the colors you wish to transform the image into, and then follow the tutorial to alter the image. Alternatively, you could follow this tutorial for a pop art style image, or even this tutorial. Hope this helps!

Woots! I finished my 8 required icons! Time to think about making some extras ... In other news, I'm leaving on vacation to D.C. for 6 days on the 8th, so I'll have to enter my submissions 2 days early. I might stop in to the forums once in a while on my dad's laptop, as I am not allowed to bring mine along ( no time to work on the MSC), and his laptop doesn't have PDN. *gasp*

That looks kinda like my icons. Just a different shade of blue-ish cyan. Very good! The highlights are perfect! -
photo printing wizard
-Expiration- replied to kilgoremeister's topic in Paint.NET Discussion and Questions
Unfortunately, there is no way to disable the Photo Printing Wizard. However, there is a work around. Simply resize your image to the dimensions of the paper that you are printing to ( 8.5 x 11 inches, most likely). Then, when printing, select the second sizing option. This will print the image at the size it was created. Hope this helps! -
Well, I used a reference image. Best way to learn! [/sucking up to Ash]

Love the demon, it looks so cool! On a different note ... EDIT: 100% Ash approved!

Yes, it is rather simple, but there are a lot of subtle little details that make it interesting as well. I like!

That, Is, Awesomeness. A quality tutorial, from a first time poster. Who'd a thunk it? (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) Very well written, very informative. My hat off to you, my friend. Hope to see more great tutorials from you in the future! -
