I was currently running version 3.05 on Vista with no issues. I tried to upgrade to version 3.10 and it failed. I also tried to try release candidate 1 3.20 but it gave the same error. I have tried to reinstall .netframework but it gives a error that it is already installed and is part of the operating system. I also tried to use the cleanup utility but it won't work on vista. Below is the error I receive

Hi HITMAN-X-, Vista won't let you reinstall framework it returns a message saying it's already installed as part of the operating system. It does not even show up to be removed either. I have also tried the clean tool for framework but it won't run on vista. So currently I will have to stick to my earlier version till a fix is found

I cannot install version 3.10 or 3.20 I get this error with either version. I used to have 3.05 on and it will reinstall ok but not these other versions. what is causing this issue I have Vista home Premium
