Zeon, I woud try this. -Duplicate layer -Then on the bottom, do a Drop Shadow, with a light-ish color -The G Blur it a little bit -And add Glow

The Speed one's good, but the drop shadows a bit much, and the...not sure what it is :? is distracting, but other than that not bad

Nice job! I'd give it am 8/10 A few things that could be fixed it the planet is :AntiAliasingOff: 'ed, and you should hide some of the stars, theres to many IMO.

Yes, it is possible You would have the picture that you want on the inside of the outline on a layer, then the outline on another layer :AddNewLayer: . Use Magic Wand to select the outside of the outline, then switch to your other layer, and push delete.
